Room was very big, breakfast was great and location was good for family who would like to spend time around ancol during holidays. We will come again as my son loves the waterpark, but hope some of the comments can be addressed!

The light in the room was not bright enough and the furnitures including the wooden floor appeared to be old and a bit run-down compared to other Mercure hotel, no rug was there as displayed on the picture and other facilities like hand-soap was not provided. Only two towels was given whereas I paid for three guest including my son. So many mosquitoes in the lobby area.

The hotel was located close to where the 2023 Formula E / Jakarta e-prix event was being held - this was why we had come to Jakarta! Loved the buffet breakfast! We enjoyed a couple of dinners, drinks at the bar and the live music. I also had a lovely massage provided by the on-site masseuse. It was really easy to get about in Jakarta using the Grab app for ride services.

We didn't realise until we actually arrived in Ancol, that you need to pay an entry fee of 25,000 rupiah each time you enter the area. We asked some staff at the hotel about it and they said that they too had to pay the entry fee when they came to work! They advised that if we were staying for a week (we were only staying 5 nights) that they could have provided us with a pass to be able to come in to the area without having to pay the fee. It would have been nice to know about this entry fee in advance.

Strategically located inside Ancol, this is the best hotel for family. Really love that we could go to the beach in a walking distance. Lots of restaurant nearby too if you wanted.

The toilet could use some work, the bidet leaks so the floor got wet all the time. The swimming pool is great, but the policy to limit guests that could swim in specific hours need to be stricter since last time, the pool was too crowded that the limitations seems like a joke.

1. strategic location. inside the Ancol. so nearby all the play & education zone. also alots of restaurant with the beach concept 2. the complimentary. when I ask about bday cake. they fup ao quickly via chat from Booking.com & when arrived, they already provide not only cake but also decoration. and about the cake, they gave us not only 1, but 3 cup cakes with delicious tasted. 3. complete facilities. every mom must wanna pick staycation place that could make their children happy. in this hotel, provide indoor playground, outside playground, swimpool for child & adult, mini water park & sliding pool at the same times. and I have to tell you, Iam amaze with the detil of changing room. small things but matter, there are a table & hanger inside the bathroom & this is very cool coz realy needed for all moms like me who has alot things to carry. and they also provide sport indoor for adult such us billiard, pingpong 4. nice stuff. from main lobby until back yard, have a great hospitalities. always say greetings & smile. served with love & kindly 5. cheap & taste good food.

1. souvenir. it will greater if they provide some merchandize that labeling with the name of the hotel “Mercure Ancol”. it could be Tshirt, short, sandals, etc

The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Breakfast is also good. The room service was great and the staff are all very helpful.

When we entered the area, the car was requested to present a QR code which we had no idea of. It is really troublesome, and, in the end, we must pay Rp25k just for the car entrance. I think the hotel should look into this especially for those who were only there to drop off some passengers (other than Grab drivers). The water from the overhead shower was also not that strong so in the end has to use the smaller sprinkler head instead.

The rooms are very clean, room service is great. Breakfast is wonderful and the facilities in the hotel is super for families. Ancol is perfect for families and the shuttle busses transfer you between the facilities of ancol for free.

Rooms can be bigger. Hotel must come up with agreement with ancol management for entry and exit of hotel guests without fees. You have to pay 25k rupiah per person for every time you go out of ancol area.

Really helpful staff at reception. I arrived early at 10:30am and they allowed me an early check in at no extra cost. That is really great after a long flight without shower, to be able to check in early. The staff a throughout the hotel are wonderful from reception to security, bell boy, restaurant staff... Really nice hotel for a family stay especially if you have kids. Great pool and they offer Kids activities. Have stayed here few times now and will be back again.

Though the hotel building is looking old, inside, specially the room is still well maintained. I got upgraded, thanks so much and the room where I stayed were spacious, clean with comfy big bed. Hotel staffs are also friendly and helpful. Breakfast, surprisingly good but might be better if hotel adds more variety of food. Coffee at the coffee shop at lobby also good.

Lobby, pool looks very outdated. Felt like you were in 90’s movie:)

The bed was very comfortable. I love the buffe, but I'd like to have some bubur kacang hijau for dessert for the next visit heheheh...... the pool was clean, plus the staff are friendly and really helpful.

I didn't like it that we had to go home so soon.... :D

The room was larger than expected, clean and comfortable. Strangely we only were given 1 mug/cup for in room coffee/tea as well as in the bathroom while the room was booked for 2 adults and 1 child. We were also able to check in early (we understood it was based on availability and not guaranteed), which was a great help for travelling with a child that needs a nap. The time slots for using the pool (health precautions for covid) were implemented rather well and we wholeheartedly support these rules and limitations, good on the hotel for enforcing them, even though some other guests were not so understanding!

We requested an additional towel and pillow for our child. We were given the extra pillows but denied the towel (were told we could exchange a towel but not get a new one. The reason given was that the hotel was fully booked. This reason was very strange as we could not fathom what hotel did not have extra towels? Furthermore the booking we made clearly stated that it was for 2 adults and 1 child which we indicated (down to the child's age) clearly at time of booking. This is not a big issue but it was a point of disappointment in an otherwise satisfactory stay.
