Second visit after just 2 weeks so we obviously enjoy staying there. Once again, the staff were very friendly, pleasant and helpful. It is a very relaxing, easy-going and nice place to stay. Love the big sandy area shaded by beautiful big trees all the way up to the bungalows from the beach. The whole family (group of 7) spent many hours playing in the sea facing the hotel. Easily accessible food and drink at the nearby Teluk Awur public beach area.

The hot water failed in one of the rooms we booked. No real problem as the normal water is not cold.

We booked the cheapest room, which was much larger than most of the rooms we had stayed in on Java. It was very tidy, well decorated, very nice bathroom and Aircon! The whole of Isabella's place is very artistic, with murals on the outside walls. We booked here before a visit to Karimunjawa, and booked again once we returned. Breakfast was fresh eggs, scrambled to perfection! Overall a very relaxing vibe with welcoming and helpful hosts. It's a shame that Jepara is mainly just a stop-off for Karimunjawa, otherwise I would have loved to stay longer.

The Aircon, although very useful, was aimed right at the bed and couldn't be adjusted. Just a little too far from the centre to walk for restaurants/shops, but Grab is very cheap. The beach was also quite badly littered so unusable, but as our stay was just before and after Karimunjawa, this did not matter to us. It is also not the responsibility of the accommodation, just an unfortunate reflection on Java's waste issues.

We really liked the host, she was super friendly and caring. The beachfront also was perfect and so calm. In the morning you get a decent breakfast with fresh juice.

I would have been nice if there was a mosquito net over the beds. We had some problems with mosquito at night . Also our bungalow seemed like it was the oldest of the bungalows, felt a little rundown.

Our third stay at the hotel in the last 4 months so we obviously enjoy staying there. The owner and staff are always exceedingly friendly and helpful. It has rustic charm, is peaceful and relaxing. Our friends on their first stay at the hotel were very pleased.

The front gate is a bit tough to open and close. My wife struggled with that:)

The owner and staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. The hotel is right on the beach. It is like having your own private beach with the other hotel guests. The location is quite fine, not far from things. The breakfast was good. The owner gave us free coffee during the day.

The cable tv lost its signal a couple of times.

The place is beautiful, the staff are extremely lovely, especially the older lady (who I assume owns the property). She helped us as much as she could sorting out ferry tickets to karimunjawa. She spoke brilliant English. I stayed in room 103 which looks out over the sea and the beach. It's a beautiful place to stay and extremely affordable.

Nothing! I paid £10 (£20 for 2 people, split) and if was worth every penny

My favourite part of our stay was the breakfasts!!! Easily the best customer service I have ever had! The breakfast was amazing everyday with fresh juices, tea and coffee and the yummiest scrambled eggs and garlic fried rice! The staff were so friendly and very accommodating. They helped us with furniture shopping and restaurant options in the area. I also loved being right on the beach. My kids loved being right on the beach as soon as they got up everyday. The bed was comfortable. They had in-house laundry services.

Unfortunately the bathroom in my room had terrible water pressure and the hot water was inconsistent for the first few days and then non existent for the last night. Other than that, I could not fault this accommodation. And I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone! One of my favourite places to stay at. I actually felt like part of the family. That’s how much I loved it!

I booked the bungalow beach front, I thought the room would be bigger, but it's ok and quite spacious apparently. We expected the beach would be private, yes it is, but it's not like literally private. We had to also share with other people who weren't the guests, especially in the morning, we had to share with the locals or other tourists who weren't the guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was very standard, fried rice or fried noodle just with an egg. In addition to that, this place doesn't have a proper parking lot. I meant, I had to move my car several times, and finally parked my car outside the villa. It's quite annoying when we're enjoying sunset, but I had to deal with keep moving my car.

Nice little cottage in the garden by the beach. Good bed and airconditioning. Friendly staff. Nothing tondo on site, so walked 10 minutes into town to drink and eat. Breakfast was very personalized.

Cold shower. And all the waste on the beach killed the beauty of the location.

I had the family room which is very spacious with a private balcony if you want some privacy. Staff is very helpfull, friendly and acts casual around you so feels like homestaying.

AC in the room didn’t cool that much so gets hot during the day. But open the window and you ha e a nice seabreeze coming in!
