The staff were amazing. They couldn’t do enough for you. Location for the beach and surfing was also great. I could walk down, taking only 5mins.

Bed was a bit small. Sheets were short. Mozzies outside wasn’t great, but you get used to it.

nice nature vibes and super friendly and hospitable staff. I was actually a fan of the outdoor shower too. Water is provided for free at the hotel restaurant.

Mosquitoes, bugs, insects are part of the package too. Room was also dusty, had to wear slippers inside. Location is also quite hard to get to but it’s close to Balangan beach. Wouldn’t consider this as Jimbaran area but Balangan instead. Good location if you plan to stay in uluwatu area but it was a 1 h commute to seminyak.

Excellent pool, walking distance to the beach and lots of little warungs for cheap good food.

We really liked the very beautiful garden and privacy. It was our first stay at Bali, and we felt like in paradise 😊 Also the balangan beach was the best and cleanest one we saw in Uluwatu. Nice waves for surfing and possible to swim if you are a good swimmer. The pool was also clean and well maintained. Food variety at the restaurant. Staff was helpful and friendly. They offer massage and other services for a very good price, but we didn't have enough time to try. Our cottage was very clean, and the AC worked well. We didn't have many problems with insects at the open bathroom, luckily 😉

Our cottage was next to the pool, and the fresh water running in was a bit loud. AC was needed in the night due to the heat and was quite loud. The prices at the restaurant were a bit higher than expected. But overall, the best stay out of 4 other accommodations till now.

Pool and onsite restaurant available. We coincidentally booked during nyeti but worked out well because we were able to use the restaurant and pool. The restaurant has decent prices but still a bit pricier than outside. One meal ranged from 50k-70k with drinks ranging from 10k-80k for cocktails. The staff are just so nice and amazing. Ask them anything. Motorbike 10k a day. Small local shops and supermarket nearby. The room was so homey. You can hang outside or inside. Good internet connection. Outdoor bathroom setup which I quite liked. There is equipment to dry your clothes. Had a small fridge with a kettle. Make sure to book a room with an aircon available.

A bit far (40-60min drive) from the airport if you're only staying for 1 night. However still a great place. Grab from the airport was ~310k. The local staff organised our airport drop off for 200k one way So may be cheaper to organise transport with accommodation before you arrive.

The bungalows are very stylish and well air-conditioned. Very pleasant location to be. The staff is very helpful and will help with your needs of transportation or anything, really hospitable people. There's a decent restaurant and a nice pool. Also, there are scooters for rent at 75k/day, some are in excellent condition, others are capable of carrying a surfing board.

Some may find the room lighting not adequate. Regarding breakfast, maybe you wanna explore other options nearby

Very pretty grounds and environment are reay beautiful. Pool area in front of the restaurant/breakfast place, very quiet. Everything was clean and cozy. Massage therapists are well experienced and do real balinese massage (much better than in a luxurious spa we’ve been to), and to a very fair price for the quality of the massage. Much to recommend!

Breakfast and dinner was overpriced in comparison to other options in south bali. Food in flower bud bungalow I was better than in Bungalow II, where we stayed. Security could be improved (rooms are locked with a thin padlock).

We enjoyed the bungalows, grounds and outdoor shower. The facility looks a bit dated and tired but for the price it’s all good. I think the island is still recovering from the pandemic. The pool is a nice size and clean. A short 5 min walk to the beautiful Balangan Beach. The ladies at the spa give a good massage so give them a try. The bungalow is also cleaned everyday which was nice. We ate most evenings at La Joya, a resort across the road or at Jimmy’s on the beach front. Both served excellent meals. Just take note there is no Aircon in some of the bungalows but there is a ceiling fan and a standing fan and a very nice mosquito net which is needed and worked well. We were happy with the temperature of the bungalow but it maybe be too warm for some.

We felt the breakfast was over priced and the selection and display of fruit very poor. Especially the pancake option was very disappointing.

Staff were lovely, they cleaned our rooms everyday and were so kind! There is a restaurant at the resort too as-well as they rent out motorbikes which is super helpful . The whole atmosphere is so cool , felt as if we were in a jungle . 3 minute walk to the beach and a few restaurants nearby . I would definitely go again

There were quite a few geckos and because there are wholes on the roof for ventilation, they can get in . They’re harmless I think though and there are mosquito nets . Also there’s no air-con but we knew that and they do supply fans .

The whole compound was nice though it took quite some time to reach it with lots of traffic on the road and a drive through rubbish filled land. The reception staff was attentive and reliable - I received mail sent by courier service on the last evening and the car that took us to the airport was well on time. Check in and check out were efficient. We received a welcome drink. The Joglo house in which we staid was nice but became quite hot during the day if the air con was not on full speed. The bathroom was very big - but only accessible through high stairs - could be dangerous at night. The pool was lovely and relaxing. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good, especially the grilled sea food in the evening.

It took the staff more than 12 hours to remove the glasses of the welcome drink from the table on the terrace. Good that they did not fall down. Our Joglo house was situated close to the restaurant - and on our last day before departure when we wanted to sleep early the restaurant had arranged for a musician who played guitar and sang with an amplifier; it was nice music, but definitely too loud to fall asleep.
