Alaya Dedaun Kuta

The staff were fabulous, very accommodating. The villa was spacious, and having your own pool was great. We did the flowers in the pool because we thought, why not. Looked fabulous. Even had breakfast in the pool. Breakfast was great. It is a great place to stay with your partner. Loved their homemade insect repellent was great and worked very well as I have sensitive skin and did not irritate it. I wanted to buy a bottle, but they did not sell it.

The only thing I would pick on is maybe they need new white towels as they were a bit discoloured and also the sheets as well.

The property was everything promised. The location was good. Despite being situated near a busy street the surroundings were extremely quiet. The villa was clean and the stuff came every afternoon to do mosquito control. So there were hardly any insects. Just some small frogs and geckos at night time by the pool. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was really nice and for an additional fee you can order floating breakfast or breakfast in bed. Many food and drink options to choose from.

You have to book spa appointments at least 3-4 days ahead if you are time sensitive (evening times are usually booked).

The Villa is located in the heart of the busy area in Kuta, which is completely out of surprise and thrilling! We love the Villa, the vibe and the friendly staff, would totally come back again and also to recommend friends.

We loved everything about this property from the moment we arrived. The staff were beautiful friendly and very helpful. Our villa was 10/10. we have been to Bali a few times and I would have to say this met all our expectations and more. Breakfast being delivered every morning was a real treat and we could not fault the offerings. relaxing in full privacy by our own pool was just what we needed for a well earned holiday. The location of shops restaurants and poppies lane was right out side and yet you felt a million miles away once back in the villa, it was paradise. We will definitely return. The whole team at Alaya were beautiful and nothing was a problem. We had two treatments at the Dala spa which is well worth the money the experience, a real treat. Love Love Loved it

The property was stunning and immaculately clean.

The only negative was there is nowhere to sit or lie in the sun. The entire pool area around the pool is in shade. My husband and I both enjoy lying in the sun, so we’re disappointed we couldn’t.

Staff super helpful, the villa is great, swiming pool is big, spacious bathroom with big bathtub, they gave us extras like 30 minutes free massage and afternoon tea with local pasteries, free minibar refill, they made us feel very welcome, the service was great, we needed to rent a bike, so they called someone to bring it to the hotel.. we also appreciated the free honeymoon decoration

At night, a bat liked to drink from the pool, did not bother me, a bit my wife, room service dinner did not meet our expectation.

Well appointed Villa that is very quiet. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly we have not had that level of service anywhere. The property is extremely clean and well maintained and the villas are cleaned thoroughly each day. Breakfast is adequate and there are cooking facilities available. The spa treatments are good and performed professionally.

The villas are located between Legian and Kuta and whilst there are a few restaurants around we found we travelled by taxi to open up options. Having said that the fares are inexpensive

The breakfast is brought to your room at the time you request when you place your order the previous day/evening. There is a great variety of different breakfasts to choose from, local Indonesian, Japanese, Chinese, American, Mexican fusion and plenty of vegetarian choices including the staple smashed avo on toast. The room was huge an oversized king bed could easily fit 3 people if you are that way inclined. The bathroom had a large shower and separate bathtub, wardrobe, luggage rack and good size vanity. The best feature of the room is the private pool just outside your room, you can swim any time of the day with complete privacy. Two outdoor pool lounges for your comfort also included. They also provide an outdoor kitchen with a gas cooktop, cooking utensils, a 4 person dining table, island bench with sink and a small bar fridge for cold drinks etc, all undercover. The staff were always attentive to our needs, always remembered our names and guided us with any enquiries we had. They really contribute to a great stay, I would definitely return to Alaya Dedaun and highly recommend it as a refuge from the craziness and heat of Jalan Legian.
