THE 1O1 Bali Fontana Seminyak

Comfy and very clean hotel. The hidden gem was the Sunny16 Cafe, one of the hotel restaurant. The western foods were brilliant! Although I was facing with some delayed time of the food served, but after my complaints the hotel management was so attentive on the customer service, and as a compensation they did a compliment onto me a free rice cracker snacks while I got to continue waiting for my foods + they also provide me a 15% discount on my overall food bill after check out. Absolutely surprised services that I seldom met. I'm definitely will come back for my next stay:)

Perhaps the hotel management can arrange and provide a small table and chair (pairs) for people who wish to feel just play a relaxed time at the balcony.

The breakfast was nice. The location is ok. Worth for what one pays. The pool and the cute cafe were awesome!

Could use more of the ourdoor space for breakfast as inside is a bit dark A bit far from the beach. Would be great if you have free shuttle service

The staff were tremendous, the CEO Mr Wayan leads up an exceptional group of employees. It would be exceptionally difficult to pick out the best employee. If I had to it would have been Yuni and her fellow Front Staffers, nothing was too difficult for them. Always so helpful. All the meals were excellent, the variety of choices on the "Theme Nights" was huge, tasty and filling. The room, although a little dated, was very good and the bed was to my liking. The hotel runs a comprehensive work experience program, those youngsters are lucky to be learning the best way to look after the guests.

The hotel needs some refurbishment but the staff and room rates well and truly make up for that short coming.

Room 241 doesn't seem to use the width benefit of this room. Instead there's a hanging cabinet on the left side of the room entrance that cut the left part of the room unevenly. The result: the room is not easy to look at on its left side. Also, 2 ceilling partitions above the beds are useless. They're just too low. The result: they cut the height of the room as well.

The staff were always happy and helpful. Always listened and would have a chat. The room was always cleaned well. Breakfast was lovely. The fact the staff remembered my sons name Was lovely as well.

Needs to be sign posted a bit better so you can see it from the road. Lot of taxis missed it because signage is not good. It’s a shame family rooms don’t have balcony and the side of the motel has a swampy paddock so we did not open window for fear of bugs and mosquitoes coming in. Also it might be good if you had helpful numbers on hand for doctors who come to your room.

Location is very close to the center of attractions. Comfy bed and clean room

Soap is too moisturized which was causing the floor become more slippery than usual.

The 101 Fontana was exactly what we needed it to be. A touch of resort life in the hustle and bustle of Kuta. Rooms were very clean and breakfast buffet was well enjoyed. TV worked - a rarity in Bali. The espresso martini at the bar was delicious too! I highly recommend a visit to the spa, purchased one of their packages and relaxed the afternoon away in a dreamy spa set up. Room service was good, meals are well described but not as expected haha. Lots of yummy fresh juices on the menu. The staff at the property were all very pleasant to deal with and upgraded us for our first two nights. We ended up booking direct for another two and this was not an issue to keep the same room.

Bintang were expensive 65k!!! My package at the spa was about 30mins shorter than advertised but I was ok with it. Important to note, this is out of the busy tourist areas of Kuta. You will need to have GoJek or your own transport to get nearer to the busier parts of the area.

Deluxe room is nice, spacious, overlooking a lovely pool that is quiet. Chilled live music in the bar some nights. Themed food nights in all you can eat restaurant. The spa is great, accommodating to short notice booking. Relatively close to beach, just a short scooter ride away from a bustling street of stalls, food places and surf lessons. Feels more local from the resorts of Seminyak. Felt safe as solo traveller. Good for a short stay.

Pleasant but don’t expect a 4 star service as you know it. Things work but not as smoothly. Breakfast buffet is mainly Indonesian food with an egg station only and 3 fruit. The wifi can be patchy. You can’t put room service on room but pay right away.

Excellent breakfast with so many options to choose from. The dining area is very nice,spacious and has views to garden and pool. The room was quite a good size with a very large comfortable bed. The room was quiet which I had requested. The room was well cleaned daily . The garden and pool area were just lovely and very well kept. I enjoyed my swim in a beautiful pool.

I found the lighting in bathroom inadequate. I would have liked to have a stronger light over the mirrored area . The shower took a while to drain too due to the non- slip mat. The room had no view- only to a concrete wall, but was quiet which I had requested. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Every staff member acknowledged us with a greeting.

Room is spacious and clean. I was placed at old quarter, guess bcos it's cheapest, matras is a bit hard although i like their soft pillows. Hotel located at busy street with many various restaurants nearby.

My room doesnt have good view, only a little garden with high wall. Thankfully sunlight still can get through. Breakfast is so so, not much food variety. Menu is almost same everyday, fried rice, noddle, veggie, potato,porridge and chicken everyday. They didnt have tempe goreng or bakwan as side dish. In the forth day, i had enough...
