I have the pleasure staying at Amaris Hotel Ponorogo. The experience I have there is the reason I choose the other Amaris Hotel I stay in Amaris Satrio Kuningan Jakarta. The hotel. located at shopping mall included cinema, kids zone & District Civil Office. Other government offices such Immigration, Religious Court, High Court & Immigration it's just nearby so it's great for my work. Everywhere it's just around and reachable by online taxi/ motorbike. Beside of that the most important is the hotel is very clean and tidy, all the utilities is works well. The WiFi free access throughout the property for traveller from overseas who can be able to use the phone by WiFi, it's save a lots of your data roaming just like me. The breakfast is fresh made in the morning with plenty of choices of foods/ drinks and MUST try PUKIS...so yummy. I want to thanks all of them that made my stay for almost 2 moths (on-off) enjoyable yet very memorable, from the manager, front office, security and housekeeping. I'm impressed how friendly but professional and super helpful. I'm looking forward for my next stay and meeting them again!!

Clean and convenient stopiver but not good for anything other than a 1 night stay. Breakfast was adequate but location has deteriorated (i guess since Covid) most shops in complex closef and no restos. CFC was dreadful, gave our chicken to the dog

Nowhere to eat

The best hotel in this town but there's not much in this town ,hotel is in a shopping mall ,excellent reception staff but facilitates and room very basic ,looks like it caters for islamic seminars mainly and they spend a lot of time gossiping loudly outside there rooms in the corridor and it's really loud to hear in the rooms while your trying to sleep then again in the middle of the night/morning at prayer time ,so sleep at this hotel isn't easy ,plus pillows really uncomfortable

The Hotel was close to where we needed to get to. The Hotel is within a shopping mall, which my wife loved.

Can't say I did not like the hotel. You get what you paid for.

The room meet just basic standard. Clean comfortable bed. Hot shower. Air conditioner. Bottled water. Good for a one night rest after a long journey

Shower curtain needs to be replaced as it was mouldy and smelly. Towels need newer ones, because it's really old, frayed and no longer white. (even though it's clean and freshly laundered). Would have been better with coffee or tea sachets for refreshments in the room.

The location and the hospitality of the staff

The room is not soundproof. I couldn't sleep well, since I could hear all the sound from the hallway almost every hour till morning.

Very nice staff.

The Internet connection (W-Lan) didn't really work and kept breaking off - no work on the computer possible :-( The sheets were dirty and the room smelled like cigarette smoke.
