Our room was very nice, as well as the property. The surroundings, full of vegetation, make us feel that we were in the jungle, but in the other hand, it was very close to Ubud (we recommend to rent a motorcycle to explore Ubud and to use a driver for the tours). In addition to everything mentioned, what we liked the most was the hospitality of the staff, they made us feel home and we extended one more night. Thanks to Gene, Juni, our driver Wayan Tano and the rest of the team.

The bed was soft for us

It feels like going home, staying in our own house. They only have 6 rooms that separated from one another so the area around the room is very private. So many outdoor space. The lobby and long table dining area have open space concept. So much cool breeze. The pool is cool. The deepest end is around 190 cm. The staff is very nice, responsive, & helpful. Ms. Novi can help give you advice about the destination around Ubud. Not all places are back open, some places are gone because of pandemic. She can help to check on the destination we want to go. Live performances are not back on yet. Better ask for her help to check. She can help to provide the car rent with fair deal. Our bedroom was by the river (sungai). The sound from the river is like a lullaby for us at night. Just be ready to deal with the stairs.

Kano Sari is a real gem adjacent to the ever-changing Ubud. The resort is beautifully designed and so peaceful. A 5-10 minute walk up the road from the busy commercial area lands you in one of the best accommodations we have had the pleasure to stay. The layout of both the resort and our Villa were wonderful. Our stay was in the larger Jepun suite which was private, roomy, comfortable and luxurious in layout. What we liked best though was the Kano Sari staff. The girls were so helpful without ever feeling they were intruding on our holiday. From organising itinetaries, making great suggestions, massages, private yoga classes at the resort, and transport. They were a real joy to have around.

There really isn"t anything that we didn't like.

I absolutely loved my stay at Kano Sari. Starting from the room itself, which was beautiful, spacious and super clean at all times. The staff was even preparing the bed for me every evening. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, arranging drivers, laundry cleaning and massages. The food was great and I had dinner several times at the facility. The villa itself is gorgeous, great pool, garden and decor overall. Location approx 15min walk to the center. My vacation at Kano Sari was exactly what I was looking for and even more than that. Did I mention the open bathroom with a bath? Amazing! Thank you for everything! 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a quiet getaway in great atmosphere.

Love Love Love my villa. Jepun was the largest villa on the property. The staff were outstanding, always accommodating and with a smile. The location was good, 15 minutes to Ubud centre on foot. We hopped on a bike to Ubud centre once with 2 of the staff. The food at the villa was great. The massage was blissful. The staff organised the spa area for our evening late checkout. Shower, clean bath towels, hair dryer, getting our luggage down from reception to the spa area for a change of clothes ... everything was done as per my request. It worked like clockwork 👌 Villa was aesthetically very nice and spacious. I loved the sound of the nearby waterfall and river passing by. I can't wait to come back again. It is a hidden gem.

Leaving this peaceful oasis was the hardest.

Kano Sari feels like home the minute you walk in - you get everything you pay for and more. Such a special place, the staff are exceptionally helpful and all the small luxuries (turn down, two-course breakfast to order, nothing is too much). We stayed in Tepi which was tucked away so privately, yet only a few steps from the pool and terrace. Room was super comfortable and the bathroom the biggest I've ever seen - everything had been thought of (mosquito spray, sarongs to borrow for the temple and pool sarongs too). Location is 5-10 minute walk to the main street in Ubud but peacefully away from it, 20 min walk to rice fields and 30 min walk to Monkey sanctuary. Kano Sari can organise transport (scooter hire or driver), spa treatments/massages and yoga for you on site and had lots of recommendations for elsewhere. The photos don't do the hotel justice - the pool area is a beautiful sun trap and so tranquil. There were other guests around during our stay but the pool felt like ours (never busy). Cannot thank them enough for such a blissful stay and introduction to Bali.

Nothing - we walked a lot around Ubud (20km/day) which was a little tiring but staying more central wouldn't have really helped that and couldn't have been happier with our choice of Kano Sari.

Our stay at Kano Sari was just amazing! The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable to stay in, and sitting on the balconies overlooking the ravine was so tranquil. The bathrooms were awesome! We enjoyed the common space for doing yoga in the morning and massage in the afternoon. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful in making reservations for dinner and tours. We had a wonderful time relaxing by the pool after a busy day of sight-seeing or shopping in the markets. I am looking forward to coming again and can highly recommend Kano Sari for an an awesome holiday experience.

Nothing. It was all good. It was easy to walk to the central market and main sites. Kano Sari offered a free shuttle service to each end of the main town which was really great.

Fabulous hotel close to the centre of the hustle and bustle of Ubud, yet the minute you walk through the door you are feel as if you have entered another world. We had two rooms in the main building (kupu kupu and capung) which were separated by a large sitting area. These two rooms are very similar and are joined by a long balcony overlooking the pool. The rooms are large with vaulted ceilings and beautiful furnishings. Attention to detail is superb with luxury toiletries, a selection of adaptors (for any small appliances you may have), sarongs for use around the pool and also for guests to use when visiting temples. The beds are large and extremely comfortable and there is a well stocked mini bar. The pool area is very pretty and is overlooked by a large pavilion where guests have breakfast. The hotel serves light bites all day and you can order evening meal if you give 24 hours notice. The other side of the pavilion overlooks a stunning wooded jungle area down to a river. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. All of the staff are amazing and treated us like family - NOTHING is too much trouble. The hotel uses a driver (Tano) who we used for a couple of excursions. Tano is very knowledgeable and super nice. He took us to many interesting places.that we wouldn't have heard about on our own (my personal favourite was the painting school - I WAYAN GAMA). I recommend this hotel 100 per cent.

The property is absolutely beautiful. Its a short walk from the centre and we enjoyed the location as it was away from the hustle and bustle but not far to walk there. The staff are amazing and so friendly and welcoming. The room is really well equipped and very homely. We stayed in a room in the main villa and had everything we needed. there was even fresh milk for tea and coffee in the fridge, sarongs for the pool and a shopping basket. The breakfasts were delicious. good selection, freshly cooked and menu varied each day. The pool area is gorgeous amongst the lovely gardens and we would love to stay again.
