Very artistic and modern accommodation with good use of local cultural elements. Easy access to food and beverages - all within 10-20 mins walking distance. Varieties of choices from local cuisines to fast foods. Many groceries and pharmacies nearby too. Breakfast spread is excellent. Stayed for 7 days, 6 nights - recommend the accommodation to all especially if you have working trips with surrounding universities like UGM and UII. It is an award WINNING hotel by country tourism agency - fully in agreement with the recognition!

Wi-Fi does not auto connect - need to sign on daily which is a hassle when have more than 1 device. Bandwidth too can be increased - connectivity slowed during peak hours i.e. 6-11 p.m.

Staff very supportive, with a great level of English. They were able to support for any type of need. Restaurant in the hotel is very good. All very clean. Breakfast very rich. Slide in the hall, which was very much appreciated by our children.

The location, though 1-2hrs away from the airport. It is surrounded by eateries and convenience stores. Staff were patient, understanding and always accommodating to our needs.

Sound proof is bad, I can hear the alarm vibration from the next door at 4 am for the last 2 nights of my stay and also can hear the noise (loud conversation) from next door

The art, the slide, the room, the staff (mbaaak Fika! Thanks for getting me the mountain view room on such short notice!), the security always helpful, the pool, the breakfast, the interior, the furniture, the cleanness, the coffee maker in the room! Love love love.

Location. Room

Forgot my request (the night before) for packed breakfast. Took 30 minutes to prepare. Was late for my tour. No money changer nearby.

The location was strategic, there were lots of cafes at Jl. Kaliurang. The hotel ambience was great. Like its name ARTotel, we feel the artsy vibes within the hotel.

This is my second time. The place is strategically located. Both traditional or happening Foods or snacks are nearby, coffee shops and gelato cafes are also easy to be reached. The rooms are comfy, with complete facilities. They even have coffee maker in the room. Services are good, staffs are kind and helpfull. No change of service from the front desk to coffee shop, even to their security. Thumbs up. All in all We are happy to stay here and definitely will come back and recommend everyone to stay here.

The parking lot is very limited, but they provide vallet parking with free of charge. So no problem here. When we booked, we got ROH, so only smoking rooms are left. If you have allergy on cigarette better not to stay, we are warned by the staff though, but we insisted so no body’s fault.
