Very original hotel, literally covered with plants. Kind and helpful staff. The new wing is brand new, the rooms are nicely fitted and squeaky clean. Thumbs up.

When I read the reviews complaining about the loud mosque next door I rolled my eyes and thought, cmon you’re a guest in this country, you can’t complain about these things. BUT after staying there, I can tell you that the mosque really IS a problem for your sleep. The early prayer at 4:00 AM will be blasted directly into your ears by the loudspeakers pointed at your window, and it will make you jump out of your bed. If at all possible, ask for a room on the other side of the building. Other than that, no major issues, I didn’t find the pool very inviting, as it’s not private, bordering the restaurant and a passageway to the next building. The breakfast was ok, I was just surprised it wasn’t included in the room rate.

The sustainable concept is amazing. The hotel is surrounded by well managed plants. There is a rooftop farm. There is a water dispenser to refill my bottle with hot and cold water in the lobby. The water offered in the room is in glass bottle which will be reused. The room is also very beautiful especially when I opened the curtain in the morning and the sun came in from the window.

The wifi is pretty bad. and I can't find an approachable communication channel before I reach the hotel since my sim card can't make phone call in Indonesia but after we arrived all communication are good.

We loved staying at GreenHost Boutique Hotel! The location is very central, walking distance to a lot of restaurants, coffee places, bars, and close to the main tourist attractions by scooter/car. The hotel is built in a way that it is very cool when you step inside, a little haven of peace in the middle of the city. The bedrooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Apart from a karaoke next door on the weekend (but that ended not too late), it was really quiet so we slept really well.

The breakfast could be improved a little.

Awesome green space, eco-friendly, and design, too. Grow your own veggies. I would like to compliment Mr Andri. I tried to make a reservation for the dinner buffet, but he informed me there wasn't a need. However, there were any more dining tables. He patiently and calmly solved the problem by setting up another table specifically for me.

The shower area for the swimming pool is lacking. The shower tap was missing, and I couldn't clean myself before and after my swim. The washroom door in the room was not properly maintained. I had difficulty opening and closing the door properly. There was a huge gap that I could peek through when I closed the door.

The hotel is a really unique place to stay. The decor is stylish and the rooms are clean and very comfortable, with excellent beds. The location of the hotel is also excellent, with lots of great restaurants and bars in the area, which is also not far from tourist attractions.

The food in the restaurant was not good, either for the breakfast or evening meals. The WiFi was not always available in the room.

Wonderful hotel, well maintained over the years. Great design and lovely plants. Slept very well in the bed. Great location and good service.

The bathroom is quite unfunctional. While taking shower the whole bathroom gets wet. The solution with the shower curtain is not ideal. A piece of glass for the first meter next to the shower head would solve the issue nicely. Also if the shower curtain would go closer to the floor the issue could be solved. From a hotel that nice I would expect that to be improved. The breakfast was good but a bit below average. When the hotel first opened the breakfast was the same and for that time great but it did not quite adjust for the standards of the last years. Im sure you can do better :)

Amazing location, incredibly clean and fresh! So beautiful inside it feels like walking into a rainforest! The customer service is above and beyond, so helpful and always smiling! They guarantee your stay will feel like home by the customer service alone!

There is nothing we dont like, perfect from beginning to end! It is the only hotel we stay at in Jogja.

Beautiful, clean and green hotel. Everything was perfect, nice quiet location not too far from the main road. Staff were friendly, housekeeping refilled the water and shower gel daily. Plenty of food options nearby.
