I love this hotel. It is very convenient for lay overs at Yogyakarta International, efficient transfers to and from airport. Beautiful and modern design, many areas to relax. Great coffe at the coffee bar, and breakfast or room service. Cool pool :). Perfect for connections with super clean rooms, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, tooth brush and paste, sewing kit, shoe polish..etc... BUT... for me the staff.. every department, so friendly and accommodating . They went out of their way to provide me me with wifi connection while there was a temporary wifi problem. You can be sure to be looked after. I stayed there twice and they will be always my choice of accommodation.  Thank you to all the beautiful staff of Grand Dafam Yogyakarta. Much much appreciated :)

Great location for the airport (YIA) swimming pool to relax in, friendly staff & very courteous, something the UK hospitality industry could learn from. Good food & free shuttle too & from the airport.

If I could find fault the bar on 10th floor & kitchen on lobby level the food orders a little bit slow, but not really an issue more an observation.

very nice room with a cosy bed. Unfortunately I could not enjoy the breakfast since I had an early flight to Bali.

The hotel was still under construction in the higher floors with some noise pollution until 5pm., also the shower room at the pool was not yet finished. Around the hotel in the surrounding fields building rubble everywhere. From the European point this pollution of neighbouring fields of view an eye sore, when looking down from the room or from the pool level. Why need to drop the waste all around the building in first place/

The hotel is nice and all facilities are new and good. The price is good for a good four star hotel. It's really close to airport and provide free shuttle. The buffet breakfast is great. So many choices and we like the Indonesian food the most, especially the sweet babur. And one of the chefs (forgot to ask his name, big guy with very short hair) from the buffet helped to explain all the food to us. He is really nice and helpful. We would recommend to book here if you are having an early flight

This was the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in! I accidentally booked my flight on the wrong day so had 24 hours to spare so stayed here as it was really close to airport and looked amazing. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, they hotel has just opened so everything was brand new. The swimming pool was heaven, my room was huge and everything was new and clean, and probably had the best nights sleep in a long time. The dinner and breakfast were amazing, you get so much for your money! The main positive though was how friendly the staff were. As a backpacker I am very used to hostels so one night of luxury was just what I needed, could have stayed there for a week! They also do free airport shuffle.

If any one wants to receive best ever hospitality then Dafam is the place !!! Fantastic!!! Loved it !!! Location , property , staff, food, cleanliness, room service , reception staff, etc etc .., everything is best .. 5 min away from airport … I shall rate 200% … thank you to the owner and the staff for giving us such a wonderful experience…

Nothing to dislike..

It is newly opened, one month year old hotel at the Yogjakarta airport. The room is really nice, everything is well situated with the best air conditioner of DAIKIN (although it was a little noisy). The shampoo and bath gel were nice. The quality of the curtain to have a good night sleep! There is a shuttle service to the airport.

There was a loud music in the corridor of the room level, also in the restaurant,,,, The drain of the shower,, The restaurant was not ready to give us all the food and drinks on the menu 😭 It looks like very common in Indonesia, the cleaning standard for the cups and glasses.

The location is perfect if you are flying off from Jogja International Airport. Hotel is clean and new. Hope to see it being maintained there after. The breakfast spread was fantastic. Spoilt for choice. Will surely come here again.

Unfortunately the hotel is about 1 hour plus to Malioboro. Hopefully, there will be more shops and eateries in the vicinity in the future..

The property is brand new and looks fantastic. The whole place is very well design and the experience exceeded our expectations. Their restaurant offers a great variety and they have nice facilities to enjoy during the stay. Employees were very helpful and professional. The property can be reached by a 10 min drive from the airport, on the way back they offered a shuttle, free of charge, from the hotel to the airport. Our only regret was to spend only one night at this place.
