I love staying here its like a home. The people are helpful and forthcoming and it has everything that one can need to live like a local right in the middle of the city. Its a really lively place so sometimes have to weave through the sidewalk to get to the front door but thats part of the charm of the location but has double glazed windows so totally quiet upstairs. No elevator but its a low building and cant be helped in these charming older buildings. Front desk is not always open but super easy and charming, welcoming self-check in when needed, just please make sure that they have your correct number for WhatsApp. Thanks Rena House family! Yael, Natalie et al :-)

Nothing really. Good to note theres no elevator but not too many steps, its a small, convenient place.

i was looking for a nice place to stay for one shabbat night and did a pretty big research: all the not-so-expensive hostels that i found had bad reviews and mentioned things that would be hard to tolerate, like noise, rude staff and uncleanliness. Rena's House had no such problems, due to reviews, so i chose it and didn't regret! we (me and my husband) booked a studio, and it was clean, nice, cozy and well equipped with all kinds of stuff you might need during your stay: dishes, glasses, little bottles of shampoo and body lotion, clean towels, iron, hair dryer... there even were books on the shelves! and also a record player to which vinyl records were provided in the common area. everything felt sweet and nice :) the location is also very fine, and staff of Rena's House takes care to send you a veeeeery detailed message about how to get to the property so in my opinion it's pretty impossible to get lost we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go there again next time!

found nothing to dislike, actually! some might find a little discomfort in the noise from the area: the windows look onto a walking alley where lots of people sit in the evening but i can say i'm very uncomfortable with noises and this one wasn't a problem at all. perhaps because the windows are pretty tough and cover part of the noises or maybe because it was more like a background noise, not too loud and even comforting in a way ")

Location was perfect. Kitchen had all the equipment needed for cooking (incl. olive oil, salt, pepper, filter/capsule coffee, drinking water). Our room and the entire building was very artistically designed. The common area has a vinyl collection where you can borrow any record to your taste and play it in the record player in your room. Rooftop terrace area was very enjoyable, especially during evenings when the air was cooler to enjoy your drink/food in open air. Staff was positive, cheerful and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Nothing. We were worried reading the comments about noise from bar downstairs, but the double window cancels the noise pretty well. So unless you are a very light sleeper, it should be fine.

Location was unbeatable - short walk to everything! Staff was friendly and room's very quaint and artsy! I think every room has a vinyl record player as well. Basic amenities such as soap, shampoo, and hair dryer are available in the room. There was no lift so get ready to take the stairs. It can be quite loud in the evenings as there are bars and restaurants downstairs but that didn't really bother us.

Very minor things that didn't really affect our overall stay but might be worth it to mention for improvement - * Kettle in our room needs to be replaced - there are calcium deposits and quite dirty. * Shower area is a bit run-down - might need a little refurbishment.

Fantastic! Much better than I had imagined. I had a double room facing the cycle track for 2 nights. Room was comfy, big, lots of light. Spotlessly clean. Bed was comfy. Lots of coffee with a pod machine and also a percolator. Also a kettle and utensils in kitchen. Decent shower. Room was quiet and well insulated from noise. They have triple glazed windows. There's a real record player there and you can select records from the hallway to take into your room and play, loved it. Location is next to a bike and running track that will lead you to the coast which is 10 mins away, walking. Restaurant downstairs is nice for a beer or food when you arrive. Easy check in. Friendly staff. I will stay here again ! Thanks for a lovely stay !

Great location to spend a weekend in the party heart of Tel Aviv, a lot of bars, cafes and clubs in the area. Cozy place with a beautiful terrace on the rooftop. Clean room with a lot of space and well equipt kitchen. Spacious and clean bathroom. Huge plus is a new and powerful air conditioner. Nice selection of vinyl records that you can pick to listen and a turntable in the room.

I would like a bit better speakers for a turntable.

Apartment is very clean and spacious. The location is great. Close to everything and plenty of restaurants around, in walking distance. Bus station closed by, it’s also very easy to get around with public transportation.

We were staying on top floor, above which it is the rooftop. During our stay, there were a group of travellers staying in the same hotel. They went to rooftop every night. There were movements of chairs and tables all the time from rooftop until 1am which was noisy. The shower facility is old and feel like falling down. But it was not a big issue for us.

Great location in the heart of Neve-Tzedeknear to Rothschild Boulevard, 10 min proximity to the sea via Park Mesila. Plenty of meal/cofee points. Very pleasant staff was very helpfull. Special delight - the opportunity to listen to vinyl records from the hotel collection and have a rest on the roof.

Renew furniture. A bit noisy in the evening when people are coming around to cafe under the windows

Very cool location. A little bit loud during weekends because of the bar below, but the windows provide quite good isolation. Rooms are very spacious and as a family of 3 we felt very comfortable. On the roof they’ve just opened a beautiful terrace, and I can imagine it will be very nice to meet the sunset there. The most wonderful in Rena’s House is the staff. At the end of our stay we felt like these guys are our family, they are ready to help with any problem you have. Definitely for this price the best place to stay in Tel Aviv!

Good value for money in a city that is not cheap. The room was spacious and the bathroom too. We loved the LP player in the room and the LP library in the hall. We danced in our rooms to pump us up for our evening programs. Rena's House's location was very good: near the beach, near some cool hotspots, around the corner of the lovely neighborhood Neve Tsedek and Rothschild Avenue. The people at the frontdesk were very nice and helpful. One girl even spoke Dutch! It was a lovely stay.

It was a pity there was no bicycle with a children's seat for rent at Rena's House. We wanted to use this facility to go and explore the city by bike, but instead we had to walk, use a cab and rented bikes elsewhere.
