Sleep Inn & Suites Blackwell I-35

I was a little worried after reading reviews but thought I'd give them a try, I'm glad I did! The room was spacious and clean, the bed and pillows very comfortable. Very close to I-35, shopping and restaurants minutes away. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was the only disappointment. The only hot option other than the usual make your own waffles was Biscuits and gravy......... the biscuits were okay and the gravy decent, probably canned. Otherwise an assortment of small rolls, yogurt, dry cereal, etc. Fortunately the was a McDonalds on the way out. Step this up and it would be great!

The hotel was beautiful and clean as was our room. Very comfortable room. The staff was very friendly despite the hotel being full and them being very busy. The assistant manager even came up to "fix" a tv issue. We will be staying at again on the way home.

My original booking was one price, then I made the mistake of thinking our dates were wrong and moving them one day. Upon doing that, the price went up, and when I realized my original dates were in fact correct, I went back to the original date, but the price remained at the higher rate. So that was disappointing.

The room was comfortable and clean. I appreciate the service. Left my keys at the front desk and the clerk brought them up to me. Thanks

Shower head is always to high for me to change it's position. It would be nice to have a shower head with an attached hose.

The location, the price, and the lady at the desk assisted when we asked for a different room on bottom level.

The overnight lady was rude, it was time change we didn't realize it so we came out of the room to eat breakfast, and she turned off the light and rudely stated:" it isn't time to be out here it".

Nice comfortable beds.

Room floors not vacuumed completely. Room maintenance needs to be done. Toilet paper holder falling off wall. Handle on bathroom cabinet falling off. Shower tile grout needs work and cleaning, mold starting.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The check-in was quick and easy, the pictures were accurate...and we just spent 2 days at a Hyatt House in a much larger room, (without a blow dryer), for double the price...this room was BETTER!

This was a clean, comfortable and quiet hotel. The bed was comfortable and we got a good night’s sleep.

We are so over the whole covid thing. It’s time to get back to providing what is promised-breakfast. I realize there are regulations in place, but some places are going ahead and providing what is promised. The thing I haven’t understood about all this is why the websites of the hotels don’t clarify if there is no breakfast right now or the pool is closed. You never know until you get there whether you’ll get what you’re paying for.

Due to COVID, only a grab and go bag could be offered, but it was fine. The best think thing of our entire stay was the young lady who checked us in late that evening and also was back on duty the following morning. Her name is Alana and you should be extremely pleased with her as an employee. She was efficient, professional and most of all friendly. She made us feel very welcomed.

Bed extra comfortable and clean. Luxurious sheets and coverlet and fresh pillow cases. Nice size and lots of counter space. Braums and McDonald’s nearby.

Extreme response to Covid in no tea or coffee or packaged foods or juices or fresh fruit. Did have the hot water connected on the empty coffee machine so could make my tea in my cup with my teabag so all good!

The location is great right off the highway, the price is right, and the rooms are quiet with air conditioning that works very well.
