The size of the room and bathroom were perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was so relaxing and nice to sit on. A one minute walk to the water and to a few delicious restaurants. Even though it is part of someone’s home I felt very comfortable and welcome. My host was also a huge help in figuring out transportation.

It was a little loud at night, but not too bad.

Fantastic B&B. Gina goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. She’s friendly, flexible and giving. The breakfast is great (she bakes delicious biscotti!), the room is squeaky clean and the bed is very, very comfortable. Gina told me she changed the mattress recently, so if you read other reviews about the bed, note this is no longer an issue. I slept like a baby. The balcony was cute and the place well connected to Catania by bus.

Signora Gina was very nice, freindly and helpful. The whole appartman was beautiful and sparkling clean. We had fantastic breakfasts on the beautiful terrace with flowers. There were shop, bakery, restaurants nearby and the sea at end of the street. Parking was possible in the parking garage two minutes away.

Gina is a wonderful host, very kind and helpful. She made us feel so welcome. Each morning she prepared for us a fantastic breakfast with fresh pastries and lots of other things. The room and bathroom were a good size and had everything we needed and was sparkling clean. The great location in the centre of Aci Castello and the lovely homey feeling make of La Castellese a must stop when visiting the nearby towns.

Very clean room/bathroom and comfortable bed. The host was kind and breakfast most welcome. There is a small refrigerator in the room which was helpful. The host was accommodating to our Covid precautions and allowed us to eat breakfast in our room. It was fine for our first night in Sicily.

We had originally thought we booked “our own place” but discovered that it was a room in the hosts home. Perhaps an error on our part but want to be clear for others who might want to book their own place.

Spotlessly clean bedroom. Very comfy bed. Big balcony. Good location in centre of the town. Friendly welcome.

Disappointing breakfast. I understand that the Italian breakfast is sweet but we expected some bread.

The lady who run the place was super kind and helpful, the location is great, silent and next to seaside, room is spacious, very clean, breakfast is also great and there is a terrace as well. I highly recommend it if you visit Catania. The only thing you should note renting a car is essential if you would like to travel around

The property was perfectly located for those wanting to explore Aci Castello. The room was spotless and the host was extremely friendly and hospitable.Breakfast was amazing.
