Room was really clean, the apartment is in a great location. Breakfast made by Rosanne was really delicious and enough to stay full until lunch. She was super kind and really helpful for giving us all the info we need to know to get the max out of our stay. She was really like our grandmother, helping us out. She booked us discounted parking tickets for 4euro per day in the multi-story car park nearby the apartment. She also gave us water each day to keep us hydrated.

It was a bit hard to understand each other at the beginning since we communicated with the help of google translator to translate English to Italian, but if you stay patient you will understand everything.

The Aljama B&B is great value for money. The bedroom was very confortable and cozy, overlooking a nice piazza in Agrigento. The bathroom is also modern, well equipped (with all kind of amenities) and confortable. Despite being very close to the town centre, it was very quiet at night and we slept like babies. Apart from the facilities, Rosanna the owner is just great! So nice and helpful! My partner had hurt himself in a knee and she was most caring. She gave us very good recommendations on what to visit, where to eat, etc. Breakfast was also great and homemade. It is also worth mentioning that she pointed us to a multistorey parking nearby, very convenient if you travel by car; she has an agreement with the parking so we only had to pay 4€ for the 16 hours or so we had the car in there.

This was a lovely place to stay in. Very close walking to the sights including cathedral and opera house. As well as a couple of great bars, restaurant and bakery shop around the corner. 3km from the Valley of the Temples, Room has been renovated with a little balcony off of it and lots of nice touches. Even a curling iron. Nice and bright. Highlight was meeting our host Rosanna. She was amazing with so much energy, humour and always helpful. Her breakfast was all fresh- squeezed orange juice, delicious cut up fruit, scrambled eggs, bruschetta. A bit tricky to find if driving and using GPS. We just parked and used google maps walking and found it easily when we were about 300 metres away. Parking good too. Rosanna can also be contacted on WhatsApp and she is also very proficient with Google Translate.

Rosanna was the perfect host, who made us feel so welcome with the helpful assistance of google translate. She cooked and served us scrambled eggs, bruschetta, fruit platter and baked treats for breakfast each morning; offered us many local recommendations and reduced secure car parking tickets (only 200m away). This airbnb is an amazing location, at the beginning of the pedestrian zone in the historical part of town. There are only 2 sets of stairs to lug your luggage up, which was completely fine for us, but something to be aware of.

The host is incredible... As a kid from the United States - you hear about Sicilian hospitality, and frankly, as someone who has travelled around the world - you really get the same thing every time you stay in a hotel- comfortable bed and varying levels of service - everything is mechanical. Aljama was not that way. Aljama has an incredible host that made our family trip memorable. She noticed the little things - like what we ate at breakfast, how much we ate, and then made adjustments the next day. I didn't feel like she was 'checking boxes' .... just trying to do the stuff that she was supposed to do. She went the extra mile - here are some examples. At breakfast she noticed (without my telling her) that the sun was coming through the window into my eyes - she kept the windows open and threw curtains over the balcony to let the fresh air in, but shielded my eyes from the sun. She noticed how we liked our coffee and brought it that way the next day. She listened to what we were interested in and made recommendations. I literally felt like I had the dream italian mother - and I mean that in the ABSOLUTE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. If you are a foodie - there is a Micheline star restaurant right around the corner. If you aren't a foodie, the host gives you a listing of pre-vetted dining opportunities so you don't have to "roll the dice" hoping that you are going to find a place you like for dinner (or lunch). Parking in Agrigento is challenging, the host helps you by telling you exactly where to park. The place is right in down town next to some fantastic restaurants. I recommend it highly.

The host is an amazing lady. She was so kind to us during our stay. She was very helpful with offering assistance. This was especially nice because I had twisted my ankle just two days earlier. Things we loved about the room: The mattress was firm and comfortable Two plush pillows per person Lovely terrace The AC worked well Very clean bathroom Water in the sink and shower had good pressure We felt like it was a very well decorated, cozy place to stay. We would definitely do so again!

The hosts were amazing- they helped us with buses, tickets, so much more. The B&B was beautiful, done with the utmost taste and care. Breakfast was delicious every day and Rosanna made sure we had everything to our tastes. Location was the best - quiet yet central. Can’t say enough about how wonderful it is.

It is worth visiting Agrigento even for just staying in Aljama BnB. Rosanna is a warm and wonderful host with a stellar personality, with on point and detailed recommendations on things to do/visit. The breakfast was homemade and amazing and the room was beautiful, cosy, clean, spacious and very well equipped. All in all, it was one of these dreamy places you see in movies but never expect to come across in real life!

The fact that we had to leave

Our host, Rosanna, is amazing! She is so warm and welcoming - providing lots of really useful information about parking, places to visit, and fantastic advice for restaurants. I feel like I was at home when staying in this fantastic accommodation. The breakfast was so tasty and fresh too. It was a lovely experience and we will definitely come back!

Totally in the special atomosphere of the very historical town. The room is large, clean and just comfortable. with a nice view of the old town or the sea. The owner lady is kind, even before arrival by providing useful information how to reach there, restaurant nearby etc. Feeling totaly relaxed as if invited to a friend's house. Breakfast is also nice. Public parking nearby.

Some difficulties may happen due to the location in the historical center, such as traffic, but it is an experience!
