This place was a little paradise in a quiet beautiful town, far away from the usual tourist hotspots. The rooms were big and comfortable, with modern beautiful bathrooms. The hotel sits atop a hill with beautiful views and nice seating outdoor. It has a wonderful swimming pool area where you can hang around all day. Last but not least the staff was AMAZING and they were always there for us to make our stay an incredible one. Thank you <3

The hotel sits atop of a hill so having a car would be recommended, unless you like long steep hikes. For us this was not a negative point though.

Breakfast was good with some fruits, bread, cheese, cornflakes, juice ect. Coffee or tea was fresh and served directly to the table you were sitting at. Having a breakfast with such a view was obviously a treat. You can also have lunch there at extra costs, but the food was great. The staff is really nice there and tries to help if possible, in case you need something.

It would be nice to have 2 room cards instead of just 1, since it is also used to open the gate to the hotel and sometimes one person might might leave with a car while the other stays at the hotel. You need a car to move around, since the hotel is on a mountain.

Great location but very quiet room. Breakfast at nearby cafe, nice touch. Mario was very helpful organizing taxis etc. Beautifully clean room and nice bathroom

Loved everything about MYRTUS hotel. Rooms big, great bathroom,Clean, comfortable, beautiful views. Staff were amazing, wish we could have stayed longer.

It was located in green calm area with very nice view of the mountain and sea. The pool on the roof garden is very nice -pity we didn’t try it (because of the weather)

Rooms were not soundproof, especially in the morning was loud when other guests were going to have breakfast.

It was clean, quiet and spacious, in line with the photos online. from the terrace and the swimming pool you can see the sea and the surroundings. there is a parking space under the hotel which is quite practical.

We felt like being a ‘client’ and not really like a 'guest', what you would expect, especially when you are in holiday. When we arrived, the hotel manager was not really expecting us. The hotel looked empty (nobody on the terrace or swimming pool) which did not feel very welcoming. Although it looks like a contemporary style hotel, over the years, the inside is stuffed with all kinds of old-fashioned furniture. I asked for a towel to swim, which I got without any comment (afterwards, i heard I had to pay for using this towel!). When taking a shower in the room, the temperature could not be changed and was way too hot: so no shower. The morning after I wanted to make a coffee in the room. but no capsules… so finally we decided to leave, even knowing that we had to pay for the 2 nights as our booking was not refundable... We found a nice hotel in Castellabate (a much nicer place compared to agropoli!!) For checkout, things got even worse: the lady at the desk was not speaking 1 word of english and trying to tell me with a translator app on her smartphone I had to pay for the Swimming towels (of which 1 we did not even use). Can you imagine???? I was also surprised to see that at the reception there is a screen with images from cameras spread all over the hotel (fortunately not in your bathroom). so every move you do there is being registered. i have never been so happy to leave a hotel!!!
