This was one of the best places to stay in the town of Alba, Close to everything with ample parking AND ability to drop off and pickup. We stayed in the Ebono room on the top floor - all three rooms include with a bonus lounge and exceptional breakfast. Rooms were well appointed with extra blankets, minifridge, walk in closet, TV, sofa, toiletries, hairdryer, towels, electric kettle, tea, reading lights. A real treasure is the innkeeper Alberto. We emailed in advance for recommendations and assistance with reservations. Alberto was spot on. He knows Alba and the surrounding Piedmont area - shops, wineries and restaurants. Each morning during our elaborate breakfast spread (included - see photo) we debriefed about our day - the activities and lunch and dinners. Alberto always had a tidbit of information to add or advice for our next event. We are not usually b&b folks - but this was perfect. The right balance of hospitality, advice and personal space. Don't bother looking at any other place - book here - if you can. Casa Agnese is quite the popular place - I understand many rooms are booked well in advance - even in this uncertain time.

This was perfection. I'm not sure I would change anything. My SO might have enjoyed a selection of softer pillows - but really its such a minor item - I would not have bothered to include it except I needed to fill this space!

Everything about my stay here was wonderful. Alberto and his wife were fantastic hosts. The room was very clean and they had some extras like a flat iron/hair straightener and a microfiber hair towel/turbie twist. I came at the start of the white truffle fair and Alberto was kind enough to make dinner reservations for me during this crowded time. Breakfast was delicious and Alberto was great to talk with and get some helpful tips. Communication before my stay was excellent as well. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 weeks in the Casa Agnese apartment. Alberto and Daniela have added a private apartment to their b n b. They are experienced hosts and provided a well equipped, immaculate apartment with private, secure parking right outside the apartment entrance. The apartment is in a central and quiet location within an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The apartment has 2 bedrooms each with its own AC and heat unit as well as very comfortable beds. There is a private bath next to each bedroom with a walk in shower. there is also a living room. The kitchen with a small dining area and has everything you need to cook a meal but while in Alba we ate out most meals. There is strong WiFi in the entire apartment even in the lower level bedroom. Alberto, the host, assisted us with reservations and was available all the time with quick responses.

Perfect location. Quiet yet central. Easy walking everywhere. Spotless and comfortable. For breakfast, plenty to eat. Fresh fruit and fresh (home made??) danish, all nicely laid out. Alberto was there and helpful with coffee and any extras required, like gluten free bread for my wife. He happily toasted what she asked for. More than enough! In particular, Alberto, our host, was exceptional in making sure every aspect our stay was enjoyable. He checked the restaurants we booked, and the tours we had planned. He went way our of his way to ensure everything went well. He seemed to sincerely care that we had a good time - and we DID!!

I cannot fault our stay, but the beds could have more comfortable sheets (wife's comment!)

Breakfast was excellent with many freshly baked items. Alberto was engaging and fun to talk to and offered good suggestions for restaurants. He also did a great job of orienting us to the town and providing directions to restaurants. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. We had everything we needed and it was very clean. The outdoor balcony was an added bonus.

We had a great stay. We have no actionable recommendations as to how to improve the property.

This B&B is well located & Alberto the consummate host. Large modern light & quiet room with balcony. Roomy modern bathroom, excellent storage & secure wifi which many other accommodation providers don’t provide. Good breakfast including lovely homemade pastries. For those with a car secure onsite parking. Only a 5minute walk from train station. Alberto very engaging, providing good information & fine restaurant recommendations.

Everything was perfect. Location right at the centre of Alba yet very quiet and with a parking space. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable apartment with a great attention to details (such as the hair straightener and specific hair towel in the bathroom, the maps of the city in the living room, the chocolates and torrone on the kitchen table, and fruit juices and fresh fruit in the fridge). The apartment was fully equipped. The host, Alberto, was very kind and helpful. It definitely exceeded our expectations.

I highly recommend staying at Casa Agnese. Alfredo is a fabulous host. He picked us up at the train station the day we arrived in Alba, and helped insure that our plans in the area didn't have any hidden issues. The room was quite large, quiet, and very comfortable. Breakfast was filled with more homecooked food than we could eat. If you are travelling to the Piemonte, this is a really good choice. Three thumbs up!

Fabulous location, exceptionally helpful host and a fridge full of food. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom and the provision of a washing machine in the apartment was very much appreciated.

Living area was a bit small for 4 adults but as we were out most of the time it was manageable.

Alberto set the standard for service as no other stay in our seven city tour of Northern Italy has been better. His ability to get reservations in Michelin star restaurants, recomendations, home cooked breakfasts all exceeded any standard of service we could have expected. Unequivocally, this was the best of our stays and would highly recommend.
