The owner is a very kind and nice person, ready to help you and takes time to answer your questions and curiosity about this wonderful Mansion House. A place to visit again for sure.

Villa Mirosa is an exceptional place with extremely friendly staff and very large rooms.

Former leakage from A/C unit left a musty smell, but the staff is aware and working on it.

Breakfast was modest, could not get the aircon to work, although it was not too hot at this time of year, but needs fixing or better instructions. I had a trailer which did not fit into the parking, but Antonio was most helpful in taking me to a public carpark nearby, and this worked out well. Enjoyed a real local restaurant in nearby Savona. would definitely come again.

location and welcome were very nice. An old mansion I liked it very much

Too much noise, I'm 1.80 tall and the ceiling is too short for me. Beds could be more comfortable. It is not possible to enter the bathroom without bending over

This is not your usual hotel. It is a historic villa, which has been (and I believe still partially is) home to an apparently very rich family. As such, it is a fascinating time capsule of "real people's lives" both from the 1920s, when the villa was originally built and the 90s-2000s, when it was renovated for the family to move in. This alone makes staying at the villa an extremely unique experience. It feels like a surprising mix of staying at a home of some old-school billionaire dad of a classmate of yours, and living in a XIX century palace (except it somehow has air conditioning and a Jacuzzi). The host is super-friendly and the seaside is within 5 minute walk.

There's nothing to complain about, just things to be aware of (because people often read this part of the review looking for tips or warnings, right?): - The breakfast is pretty minimal - a coffee / orange juice & a croissant, although the owner makes sure you get the best and freshest croissants in town. There are a lot of restaurants along the beach where you can get a fuller breakfast, if you need that. - If you are not Italian and plan to stay at Albis(s)ola for a seaside holiday, be aware that the "right" way to enjoy Italian beaches during high season implies getting an umbrella&sunbed at one of the paid beachfronts (Bagni/Lido), which charge ~40EUR per day nowadays (for this you will also get access to a pool, a personal locker / changing cabin and, in some places, even an animator for your kids). Sure, there are places along the beach where you can lie down for free with your own umbrella, but those will be more crowded, the sand there is somehow much dirtier and your overall impression will be contrasting strongly with the fact that you are staying in a literal palace ;)
