We loved the view from our room, the location of the hotel also meant that it was nice and quiet at night. Also having a restaurant meant that we could relax without the need to go out for dinner.

The only thing I would have liked is to add a bit more selection in the restaurant menu. A bit more variety.

Hotel Il Girasole is absolutely beautiful. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating and our room was always lovely and clean when we returned each day. The views from the pool were stunning, looking out over bougainvillea and to the sea - the sunset here was breathtaking. A nice quiet hotel, always sunbeds available around the pool and good selection of snacks and cocktails available at the pool bar! Only a 5 minute walk to the bus stop which has bus’ running every 15 mins whichever direction you are heading. And only a 15 minute walk (bus also available) into the piazza in Anacapri which has lots of restaurants and shops. I highly recommend Hotel Il Girasole and can’t wait to go back in the future!

Nothing, it was perfect.

The view, grounds, and general ambience was beautiful and tranquil. We loved relaxing at the pool area after a day of exploring. The breakfast was also excellent, with much variety (and excellent cappuccino!)

It was great that the hotel offered a free shuttle service for guests and/or bags. This allowed us to explore Capri unencumbered upon arrival. We had also arranged for our bags to be dropped off at the Marina prior to our ferry departure the next day. That being said, there was an oversight and our bags somehow missed getting onto the hotel van. The hotel staff were apologetic and helpful though, and a young man from the hotel drove the bags down at superhero speed, arriving just in time for us to board our ferry.

One of the most relaxing and beautiful places I've ever been. The hotel felt secluded, private, and a special place. The service from the staff was also some of the best I've experienced. They were in touch well before we were travelling with tips and helpful guidance on booking ferry tickets from and to Naples. Offering the free shuttle service from the ferry to the hotel and back again on the day of departure was fantastic, and incredibly helpful because it is way up in the quiet part of Anacapri. The hotel itself was quiet, clean, a really stunning setting with some incredible views. Sitting by the pool area, or outside our room at our private table with a view of the sunset and the sea was special. Even though the hotel was full, it was quiet for most of the day (the one day I was the only person around the pool for a few hours) and there was very little noise from other guests. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning easily the best I've ever experienced anywhere - which was very nice on the hot days. The rooms and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was small and simple, but you could tell care and attention was given to it, and it was delicious and enough variation. All the staff members were great during our stay, happy to help. My wife was sick for 24 hours here and they were very helpful and kind. They also helped us with getting some takeout from a local restaurant delivered to our door, offered an affordable and fast laundry service, and even arranged a free shuttle bus to and from a recommended restaurant along the coast in a somehow even quieter part of Anacapri. It was an absolutely sensational place to stay and we would love to go back for longer.

We really loved where the property was located, walking distance to the centre of Anacapri and only a few minutes walk from the bus stop. All of the staff were amazing and so helpful, they explained things so well to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Especially Domenico, he was wonderful and went out of his way to help us explain where everything was on the island and helped book us in for an amazing boat tour and always answered our many questions when we needed! We really appreciated the shuttle to and from the hotel to the ferry! We actually preferred staying in Anacapri instead of in the centre of Capri as we found it a bit more relaxed! would recommend anyone to stay here, good value for money!

The sunset from the pool is increadibly beautiful.

The location of the hotel is not directly in the city center and you need to walk for about 10 minutes to reach public transport, or if you rent a car there is no direct access to the property due to the very small street that leads to the hotel. As a suggestion, the interior design of the rooms could be more appealing Breakfast, all day the same and the juice options were made of powder. Fresh fruit juice is not an option, instead you can buy it from the fridge at an extra cost.

The view!! Very nice and helpfull suff, almost everyone was speaking english and even if they didn’t they somehow managed to comunicate and help. They help us to book a boat criuse around the island and told about places worth seeing. The breakfast was tasty and fresh, with the great view. We didnt use the pool, cause it was a bit chilly in our opinion, but in general area was very pleasant and clean with plenty of sunbeds. We really appreciate the pick up and later drop up at the port. Very close to Anacapri center. Overall great stay.

The location is not far from the city. Its quiet & has a beautiful view of the sea. I’m very satisfied with my stay in this hotel.

The bathroom is floor has a lot of water & the dead fly on the corner of the door to the bathroom. I talked nicely to the woman in the reception & she seem angry & start arguing w/ me me if the house keeping didn’t clean the room? We like to enjoy our stay. The hotel is not cheap. We except better service. The guys in the reception are very nice & friendly & over all good service.

Loved the serene view and pool with room accomodations and breakfast was amazing for even a family (while this place is best designed for cute we couples and honeymoon destination)

Just be aware for couples the hotel is AWESOME to get to different restaurants at nite, but for family the hotel will ALSO give you delivery options (just ask), or you can get 'al portare' **takeaway** from Ristorante Il Boccone and its a quick walk away
