Everything was amazing,the room was quite a good size and clean with an amazing mountain view and very quiet at night also Great heating in the room and quite nice bathrooms. Room well lit and the bed was very comfortable. We could see quite a bit of christmas lights still hanging up outside from our room which made it look like a magical snowy christmas village The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay as nice as possible. I even asked if i could find any panini shop that was open in the afternoon near by and they offered to make it themselves even tho the kitchen was closed at that time. They even keept our luggage for us even tho we had already checked out of the hotel ( as we wanted to visit a couple more places before we went back to Turin). they even explained to us what navetta to take depending on where we wanted to visit .Staff over all very nice and really friendly. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was super nice and delicious. The set menu was only 20 euros per person and it was VERY VERY filling ( you can request smaller portions too ). The buffet was also very nicely made and a lot to choose from. The breakfast had a vast variety, from cereals,fresh fruit, yoghourts,cheeses and hams,breads eggs etc...they even told us to inform them if we needed anything else made for us that was not there and the food was very fresh. Dining area was very nice and clean. Over all this hotel is very nice and welcoming i would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit bardonecchia. The train is roughly 2 minutes away and shops very close by. If i ever visit again i would defiantly choose this hotel over any other! They truly make you feel at home when you're far away from home!

Nothing everything was great

The owners and staff of this hotel were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the evening meal very good value, personally served by the chef. We were offered a huge room with plenty of space and the property has an efficient lift. We wree told that the hotel has recently changed management and it is evident that a real effort is being made to offer a pleasant stay to all guests. Parking outside on the square is very easy and the hotel is within walking distance of all that Bardonecchia has to offer.

The bathroom door did not close properly. The floor (parquet) was very creaky so we were disturbed a bit by the movement of guests nearby.

At first sight, the house might look as if it has fallen out of time. But when you check in, you remember that good hotels used to have a soul - because Hotel Sommeiler still has one. I definitely had fun during my stay and felt appreciated as a guest. The manager sugessted a very nice walking itinerary that had a bit of everything to be seen in Bardonecchia. Don't miss the dinner buffet - it has very much choice and is incredibly good value. I also liked the breakfast a lot (choice and quality of the products). My room was quiet and I appreciated the good place for my bicycle. The hotel is situated close to the train station and the main shopping street of Bardonecchia.

A very warm greeting from the new management, extremely helpful, polite and informative. Check-in was very smooth. Hotel itself has a slightly faded old world charm, was warm and comfortable with a good bed, so I got a great night’s sleep.

The decor/colour schemes could do with a sensitive update without ruining the old world charm. Lighting in the rooms was rather harsh, could do with updates like plugs/charging sockets by the beds et cetera.

The location of the Hotel is very good, quiet and easy to find. There are dedicated, safe parking spaces behind the property for motorcycles. They offer breakfast/dinner in their restaurant. The food is simple, of locally sourced produce and delicious. Staff is very friendly and helpful The Town, Hotel is a good starting point for off and on road motorcycle adventures.

Beautiful historic building walking distance to train station. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were the best and made our visit absolutely amazing. Shuttle to Camp Smith is across street from location. We were able to rent the ski 🎿 gears there and avoid the craziness at the ski resort!

The Hotel is exceptionally good! Very good buffet breakfast which is very reasonably priced. The location is amazing - 5 minutes away from the train station and from the main streets. The bus stop is not very far away. The staff is amazing - very helpful and able to communicate in English, they helped us a lot with our needs such as renting of skis and bus schedules. I highly recommend this hotel!

The breakfast is perfect, the chef is very friendly and happy!

I would change the music in the restaurant room and I would remove the moquette in the bedrooms

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend Hotel Sommeiller to others, and will be back at some point. The food was delicious, and the whole stay including dinner and breakfast was very well priced.
