As soon as the gates close, you enter a different world: the rooms are beautifully decorated, the house is breathing history, but perfectly adjusted to support the guests. Milano, Pavia and Genova easy to reach. Lorenzo & Lina, thank you so much for your enormous hospitality, tasteful cooking, beautiful house and great garden.

The garden is awesome. Also far from perfect as the Palazzo is progressively renovating, and it has the charm of a familly house. The rooms are already renovated and could be rated 5 stars hotel rooms : Huge and beautifully furnished.

The restaurant nearby is expensive and of low quality (the restaurant does not depend of the hotel), better follow Lorenzo advices to eat in cities at 20 mn by car.

Very peaceful environment, exclusive atmosphere, stunning room and bathroom, nice park and swimming pool, great breakfast. The host is super kind and you can ask him anything you may want /need to make your stay great

This place is awesome. We spent a very nice and relaxing week in the palazzo with our two little children. Lina and Lorenzo were gorgeous hosts who fulfilled every wish and need (baby bed and chair, restaurant recommendation and reservation, drinks, etc.). They have a nice breakfast selection and provided delicious food! We could choose to eat inside or outside in the beautiful garden where we sat under the old magnolia trees hearing nothing but the crickets… While there is not much to do in the immediate surroundings, Milan, Pavia and Vigevano are very easy to reach by car (~30mins) and there are some nice restaurants nearby (5-10min drive). During the first two days, we did not feel the need to go anywhere, because it’s so nice to simply enjoy the huge garden and the pool. Or to sit in the salon for reading. Since there are only 4 or 5 rooms, it was never to crowded and actually felt as if we were alone. The palazzo is beautifully maintained and the room was nicely renovated and very clean and spacious! Other great assets: very comfortable beds and bedsheets, air conditioning and a little fridge, kettle in the room, nice shower! We would definitely recommend the place and come back any time.

Only downside for the region (not for the place): since there’s a river nearby, there are some mosquitoes by night.

Newly renovated, huge room, peace and quiet, friendly owner. There are lots of nature walks nearby and plenty of restaurants in a nearby town (including one within walking distance). Breakfast was excellent and the historical aspect of the Palazzo was intriguing.

The Palazzo is just wonderful. It’s like a little paradise. The inside, but also the outside. Our room was beautiful and the bathroom was so huge and pretty. The owner was also very sweet and helpful and he recommended a very good restaurant close by. Breakfast was also very good. defiantly highly recommended.

Perfect host in a most unexpected, palace-like place in the countryside. Large and well furnished room - we felt like royalty. Probably the biggest room (with the highest ceiling) we ever spend a night. Almost like living in a museum or castle just with all modern amenities. Perfect and quiet A/C. Wonderful pool. Extremely quiet. Great parking. Super breakfast - exceptional experience.

You would need full-time gardeners to make the huge park-like area spotless - we loved it like it was with a little river and wonderful trees in and outside the compound. Fewer loungers than guests at the pool.

A beautiful old Palazzo in the middle of the Italian countryside, with a great garden with an excellent pool, all completed by the very personable owner - makes you feel like royalty. As a Bonus there is an excellent Florentine restaurant next door, one of the most eclectic we have ever visited - truly a gem.

The location was perfect for us, but may not suit to everyone due to its rural setting unless you are looking for miles of countryside.

Truly amazing place to visit. Rooms are spacious and gorgeous. Bed was very comfortable. There was large pool and beautiful garden with old Magnolia trees. Lina and Lorenzo were amazing. Helped us with everything. They made us beautiful candlelight dinner in garden. Everything we ordered was delicious. It was our first time there and I sincerely hope to visit again.
