Silence and peace in a tiny hilltop mini town. The hosts were very attentive, caring. I felt like being a family member. Homemade cakes on the breakfast table. Undisturbed view over the valley of the Tiberis from the room and from the loggia. Free parking.

The hosts, a couple, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, nice bath. Breakfast was excellent, with home baked cakes and cheese from local farmers. All very nicely prepared. The castle in a tiny village in Mugnano was charming. We highly recommend this place and consider it among the most charming we have staid at. The environment and it´s calmness surprised us.

This is possibly the best place i've ever sat and read in my life. where else can you stay in a renaissance mansion with its own secret roman archeology. if you're ever visiting rome you owe it to yourself to come out here and just sit for a day.

the only challenge is access. the village has no restaurants and no public transport so arrive by car.

The place is simply spectacular (the view from the room and the main terrace were exceptional) and the owners are absolutely lovely. The breakfast was a particular highlight: it felt like an "experience" you'd pay for all by itself!

The room felt a bit damp

Everything was really good; breakfast was exceptional with fresh fruit, sweet and savoury choices and a large range. The owners are extremely attentive and went beyond our expectations. We loved our time there

Not a dislike, just advice. Mugnano has no shop or restaurant so come prepared with what you may need.

The Palazzo is an incredible building and a stunning setting in Umbria. The village is picture perfect and our host couldn't have been more accommodating. The breakfast really special too- home cooked cakes and local delights.

The village is beautiful but to buy any basics you need to drive 10mins to Bomarzo.

A real palazzo with a stuning view on the countryside. The breakfast is so impressive from the lodgia. I really recommand this place.
