I loved this hotel. It’s very central with a beautiful garden onto which I looked out over orange trees and palms. The breakfasts were good and different each day with an abundant mixture of sweet and savoury, as well as fruit. It was well-heated for November and the rooms are large and well-furnished; there is a lovely marble staircase running from top to bottom as well as many other delightful original features. The staff are very helpful, welcoming and friendly as well as being very accommodating about my dog. It was altogether peaceful, with just the sounds of birds in the morning awakening me. I’ll be back.

Nothing, I stayed longer than I intended!

We arrived at the hotel with our bicycle and the staff was very helpful in having us on the ground floor where we could easily roll our bicycle inside the room. Positive vibes all around. The hotel is located in an old riviera type of building, with a great atmosphere and a huge garden.

Unfortunately, the huge garden and the nice Cra Cra Cra of the frogs had a downside, 4 season mosquitoes! Bring with you a good mosquito repellent.

Extremely friendly, family run hotel. Great location to go both to the Promenade or to the Old Town. We traveled with two small dogs - and they felt like at home. One incident to mention: after dinner, my wife suddenly realized that her ruby ring was missing. We searched every part of our room without success. My wife was desperate as this jewel represented a big simbolic value on top of its price in general. Departing from the hotel, she briefly mentioned it to the hotel owner, and we went to the see. Back from the promenade, we received a note asking us to come to the reception. The ring was found ! But where? On the street in front of the hotel! Many thanks to the owners, their family, and the staff for their attention ! We shall certainly come again! Andrey and Natalia

Great location, 5-10 min's walk from the wonderful old city center. The hotel staff welcomes you with that typical warm Italian hospitality. Great value.

The pillows where a little hard, but after mentioning this to the staff they were immediately replace by softer ones. First class service!

A haven of calm with a beautiful secluded garden which lovely my room with a small balcony overlooked.The owner is very attentive and kind and I wish my plans had allowed me to stay another night.Location is good 5 minutes from the centre of Bordighera. Continental breakfast was perfect with fruits,cold meats and sweet things.

Linda, the hotel owner, and her staff were absolutely lovely. They couldn't have done anything more to please. the only thing was that my shower door was broken. This didn't impact me, and Linda was trying her best to get a plumber in to get it fixed.

The location is very good, you can walk to city center and to the beach. The breakfast is ok and the garden is very beautiful. Parking is on the street. We have no problem find a place to leave the car. Good value for the money

The WiFi just work in part os the room and some times goes down. The air conditioning don't work but you can leave the window open since I was no noise from the street.

The owner Linda is a wonderful lady, very helpful and makes you feel at home. She is very accomodating. The location is amazing. The rooms are big, the hotel a beautiful backyard to enjoy breakfast or a drink al fresco. would definitely recommend Lucciola.

The place could use a little refurbishing, which had already started.

the hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. they were helpful and I experienced a very high standard of service. helpful giving information about the area and also allowing me to have an extremely late checkout. I love this warm family hotel

there was nothing not to like about it. it is not luxurious if that is what you are after.

Spacious room with small terrace..my 2nd visit and was lovely to be back.Excellent location only 5 minutes from all the restaurants and shops..and only 10 minutes to the sea! Madame is always helpful and accommodating.

Bathing facilities could be improved.
