Well situated in the centre of the town. Free parking. Daniele, his family and all the staff were kind, friendly and efficient. We stayed for six nights while visiting family in the area. Very comfortable room with a lovely view. Immaculate bathroom, with daily room service. Fresh fruit in the room with the fridge and very nice free products in the bathroom, (I love the hand cream) Air con in room. Welcoming to our grandchild and dogs. There were a number of places to sit and a lovely terrace on the third floor with views over the village. Excellent locally sourced food and home-made pasta.



We loved everything about La Rocca! Right in the center of the historic beautiful village of Brisighella, under the clock tower and the fortress this is a gem of a hotel- small, family run, sparkling clean. Our room had a little balcony, lots of light and a view to the clock tower. There is a great sun terrace and the whole area is scenic. Daniel the owner is wonderful , and went out of his way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable, helping us with recommendations and any requests. His restaurant on the premise has delicious food. All the staff were so friendly it was a true pleasure.

The breakfast was excellent. The choice was sweet or savoury. I only had sweet, which was a selection of pastries, juices, yoghurts and fresh fruit. Coffee/tea etc. Delicious. The staff were amazing. The owners very welcoming, friendly and so accommodating. The room was wonderful. Huge TV, mini bar. excellent shower, double basins, bidet, walk in wardrobe and a little dining area, and two cosy armchairs. The whole hotel was beautifully decorated. It has a roof terrace with lovely views, but was too hot to sit up there during our stay. We ate in the restaurant twice, great food; sitting out on the terrace which is so prettily decorated, with gorgeous arches hanging with ivy. Our stay was pure joy. We will certainly be going back.

Located within walking distance from the train station, Albergo La Rocca is absolutely fabulous. From the fresh fruit in our room, the friendly staff, the lovely room and balcony, the amazing breakfast served on the terrace, this hotel is truly exceptional. A special mention has to be made of the dinner menu which was comprehensive. Not only was the food beautifully presented but the flavors were incredible. We both commented that the meals we had during our stay were the best so far on our travels through Italy.

Breakfast was excellent, well prepared, service was great. We stayed for three nights so ate the same thing every morning. It would have been nice for there to have been some variability. Our host, Daniel, was wonderful, very informative and willing to help us plan.

We absolutely loved Brisighella. It is such a small town and area, however that two days would have been sufficient to see it all. As a result, however, we had a very relaxing time.

We stopped in this town on our way further south. We were unimpressed with the town, which had been highly recommended as an "undiscovered jewel". We did not discover the jewel. In addition, considering it was the second week of September, almost everything was closed. The hotel, on the other hand, was very nice. I have to mention the overwhelming use of perfumed air fresheners/cleaners throughout the rooms & hallways. If you have allergies, this might be a provlem. The room was fine and the air conditioner worked well enough considering the unusual hot spell. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and served on the terrace. Typical Italian (no protein) breakfast, but tasty and attractive with fresh fruit, etc. We did not have dinner although that may have been a mistake. The restaurant we chose elsewhere was mediocre.

The addition of eggs and warm foods at breakfast. Elimination of perfumed cleaners.

Daniele, Mama, Barbara (x2), and the whole staff were welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect. Breakfast was fresh and delicious including individually prepared hot eggs! The view from the rooftop garden is beautiful. Easy to take day trips to other cities/sites in the area.

I LIKED everything! Wish we could have stayed longer. Looking forward to my next visit at Albergo La Rocca.

This hotel and its' restaurant are exceptional. The view from the terrace is picture postcard perfect. The food in the restaurant is of the highest quality. And what makes it extra special is the welcome, warmth and care of your host Danielle.

We are only sorry that we only spent one night here. It would make the perfect base for an extended stay to explore the area.

La Rocca is in the beautiful little village of Brisighella, its easy to get to by train and is a 5 min walk from the station. The family who own the hotel are lovely, we were made to feel very welcome and the staff are very attentive. The food is amazing, the rooms are clean, very spacious and the beds super comfy. There are some great walking routes from the hotel and tourist information are very helpful and can provide you with maps of the area.
