Beautifully decorated inside and outside the rooms. Definitely a luxurious feel. Great food in the restaurant. A great place to relax and unwind for a couple of days.

Drink options and prices were not great. The cheapest bottle of beer (33cl) was 10€. Although breakfast was delicious, it was very simple for a luxury hotel. Dinner in restaurant was also delicious but menu was the exact same (other than catch of the day option) for the two nights we ate there, with not many options. Had we stayed more than 2 nights we would have felt forced to have dinner outside the resort.

It was an excellent place to just relax. The pool was just gorgeous and the grounds /rooms maintained very well. Everywhere was scented by the profusely growing jasmine. Nice large rooms with big sliding doors on two sides to allow breeze through (there was AC also). Comfortable bed. Big bathroom and a separate section for clothing and luggage partitioned from the main room. Big comfortable sofas in rooms and common areas. The staff were lovely (and been working there for extended periods of time). Good food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had a problem with our bathroom and were promptly moved to another, with lots of help from staff. Very quiet except for the wildlife

No fan in bathroom meant it got a bit steamy and took a while to dry (but there was a hot towel rail). Slightly off the beaten track, not sure I would want to drive there at night. But not far from other towns like Otranto.

The first Place where we extended our Stay within 30min after Arrival Placed in between the largest Organic-Fig-Plantation within Europe this Suite Only Resort Met Every Single Need but what led to this additional Booking was the Level of Hospitality and Service within the whole Crew. I have Never experienced that Level of Excellence and friendliness before. Not on a Servant-like Basis More at an eye-Level which is way harder to find IMO. Of course the Food is fantastic, the Wine-List is well curated and the Beds&Mattrasses are terrific. The whole Place is definetely 5Stars but in a humble way. One of the few Hotels which are way more beautiful in real Life than on Pictures. Visited 06/23

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have a better rating. We loved it. It has this laid back vibe you always look for on vacation. “I don’t want to go anywhere else” vibe. The stuff is great, the service is amazing, Beautiful grounds. The room wasn’t mind blowing but the roof top terrace more than made up for it. We ate figs and apples from the trees) We are going to miss this place.

Amazing property, the pool is outstanding. our daughter loved the pool and the food was excellent. the rooms were really nice, well designed and lots of space. very calming. staff were all incredible, helped us everyday with beach clubs, restaurants (although the best food we ate in the area was at the hotel). The gym is ideal and next door to a perfect little kids playground.

We paid a lot for the suite, and even the water was chargeable. The tea bags were not replaced and they tried to charge us 3 euros for half a glass of milk for the cappuccino frother. Feedback for the hotel, when you are charging £480 a night and your customer is staying 3 nights, complimentary water is a small gesture.

Very nice and well-appointed property with great service, delicious breakfast and an excellent restaurant (especially for dinner). Perfect base for exploring Otranto and the region.

I would suggest they had more information about experiences in the area like olive tasting (which I discovered by myself in a nearby town).

It was beautiful and in a tranquil location. We had a suite, which is the nicest room that we have ever stayed in. It was stunning. We loved cycling around the periphery of the fig farm too. The property has bikes that you can use. Food and service were both excellent. Good location for sightseeing.

Luigi De Santis and his team have created a hidden gem in the utmost southern part of Italy. With just a 30 minute drive to the Mediterrenean Maledives at the west coast, 30 minutes to the Adriatic bays in the east and 30 minutes to the breath taking city of Lecce, Furnirussi acts as the perfectly situated oasis like base camp. Honestly, we’re rather spoiled travelers. But Furnirussi’s cuisine exceeded every single expectation. Just order what’s on the menu or ask for anything special and the chef will overdeliver- every single lunch, every single diner when you decide to eat-in. The rooms are well designed and the gym is a must-use: just look at how it’s situated in the tenuta’s park. The team members have invented hospitality with their captain Luigi leading the way. Subtile gestures, good guidance in gastronomia and always-on without being over-caring. Highly recommended, chique tenuta in a relatively undiscovered, more than worthwhile part of Puglia.
