We visited in July 2023. A nice and helpful family runs the accommodation which met all expectations. Big house and yard with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. Nearby there is a local shopping center with restaurants and other services. The breakfast was excellent. Rooms are clean and well functional - equipped with effective air conditioning (which is easy to use). We travel quite a lot and this place met and exceeded expectations. We highly recommend this lovely accommodation.

We have no complaints. Hopefully we can travel to Italy soon again and stay at this place again.

That was a wonderful experience for our family by the end of our trip. The B&B is truly made you feel like a visiting a friends, rather staying in the hotel! The house is stunning: big spacious and decorated with such care and love! it has a multiple pieces of great art work and antiques. The property has a stunning garden with old trees, flowers, which has a lot of comfortable spots to sit and enjoy the outing or view it from your room. our host were wonderful and accommodating. we had to leave earlier than the normal breakfast time, however, the full breakfast was served and that was perfect! The food, the setting. There are multiple places to go for nice meal, even with walking distance. We really enjoy every minute of our stay there. hope we can stay longer next time

gorgeous neighborhood by the sea and not far from FCO Airport, and CIA Airport.. about a 45 minute trip to the COLOSEUM “IF 0 Traffic”!… otherwise 1 1/2 hours… Gorgeous House!, 1,000 square meters ( 10,000 square feet) on multiple levels decorated in fine furnishing some a 100 years old. Aldo and Laura and their Granddaughter serving breakfast are so NICE and professional… Breakfast was great! made to order! Eggs and bacon ! great coffee, fantastic Apple Cake & Cornetti!… served in beautiful garden. cleanliness was amazing ! excellent AC. Houserobes and slippers! And facecloths! coffee/ Tea Jettle maker in room SMART TV super Elegant.

BUMPY ROAD COMING IN DUE TO TREE ROOTS. Pool and loungers need more attention. musty smell, due to AC, needs to be looked at. Prefer Shampoo and Conditioner, not just Shower Gel…Better refillable bottle full of soap then throw away soap in packets, but both of excellent quality, and there was an amenities kit with ear buds, s crunchy, napkins, and Emory Board… Size of my room was good, but not great, no SKY TV, only Channel 39 in English, prefer two bottles of water free especially with Kettle in Room. prefer Bidet with Rubinetto, these old fashion kind, require you to reach behind. all in all super but my room was nice but no a 9.5 Trip Advisor room especially the very nice, but not excellent sloping roofline bathroom. m

La Gaura was such a wonderful welcomed respite from hot and busy Rome. The house and grounds were gorgeous. Our suite and bathroom were so spacious and clean and well-appointed. The breakfast was amazing. The pool was amazing. The house is walking distance from a mall that has a grocery store, cute shops, and a selection of restaurants. We wish we had planned to stay longer.

We didn't have a car so getting to La Gaura from Rome requires taking the metro to the end of the line to a bus, and then a short walk from the bus stop. So it wasn't super easy for us, but not impossible either. If you have a car, arrival will be easy.

I can’t fully describe well enough how lucky I was to have stayed in La Gaura Guest House: The whole property is just like a little paradise: decent, beautiful, quiet, well-decorated…it is just so beautiful there for you, with fully-planted flowers, old-fashioned furniture, well-maintained pool, cute canvas gazebos,and, what’s the most important, a very special dedicated three-generation family team! Every morning, when I was having breakfast in the yard among the trees and flowers, I was treated like a queen with plenty of food and fruit! The best breakfast I ever had compared to more than 10 other hotels I had stayed. The room is quiet like a high-class home’s: The bathroom is bright, clean and detailed: for example, though not only one hotel has bidet, this one is with towel on one side, and soap on the other side. The running water is great, too! The bedroom is fully furnished, With enough space to store your stuff to make you feel like own home(Well, I simply forgot it’s a hotel? I stored my skirt too well and left it in a drawer, but Raffaella happily notified me that she would mail it to me right away). Of course it’s easier to have your own car to get to the hotel, but they have taxi connection, and would certainly arrange for you whenever you need one. BTW, when I was on the way, they would show great concern to help you to get back safely! I would stay in this same hotel if I have a chance to visit Rome again!

A perfect stay for our last day in Italy. Beautiful building with a tranquil garden and nice pool area. Very friendly owner who did her outmost to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Varied breakfast made in house to your liking. We'd love to come back here! About 15-20 mins drive to Fuimicino airport.

The garden and the rooms were beautiful ,like little fairy-tale place or place to come and write your book :) .The staff was wonderful and breakfast arrangement they do is really great. Place was clean and well equipped.

There was quite a bit of loud dog barks in the night time from neighbour houses .I do like animals but I have to say it was a bit hard to sleep with that and seemed to be going on exchange from few houses around .I would still come back again :)

The room were very clean and the house was very pretty. Garden is beautiful and the breakfast was good. Staff is super nice.

We didn’t get the room that we thought we ordered. We got a room in the attic the had really low ceiling in the bathroom, not really comfortable for my tall boyfriend because he kept hitting his head on the ceiling. Also the wifi didn’t reach our room.

The suite was perfect for our family of 5, the guest house is beautiful, the owners are very nice, and we very much enjoyed the pool. The guest house is located in a residential area not far from the airport. We were only there for one night, for a longer stay a car would be great. There is a private parking. The breakfast is excellent!

A beautiful Roman villa close to Rome and the sea. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of variety and served in the beautiful gardens that surround the property. The host, Raffaella, is absolutely lovely. Looking forward to staying at this beautiful place again. Dina and Eric - Canada
