- Locanda Scirocco is located at the heart of Castellamaro del Golfo down town very close to restaurants and shops. Location is excellent - Staff was very friendly and helpful - Home-made breakfast (if you have a sweet tooth, you're going to love their variety of freshly baked cakes) - Reasonable price - Free parking available around the property - I never had a problem to find a parking even though I had to walk a few minutes to the hotel

- Maybe I was very unlucky, there was an Independence day when I arrived on June 3rd and the noise from the streets was very disturbing and lasted until wee hours. Overall, noise from the outside (if you don't get a room facing an inner courtyard)is something to be prepared for (maybe bring ear plugs). That's a flip side of staying in the town center area. - I couldn't open balcony shutters

Nice, clean and snug room, right on the main road of Castellammare del Golfo. Everything is within a walking distance whether it is day or night.:) Great variety and quality of breakfast with really friendly ladies who make it for us.:) Great, welcoming and very helpful staff, especially Rosalia, my favourite receptionist, who got close to my heart from the very first moment!:)

The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The room met our requirements and was comfortable. The breakfast was the best we have had in Sicily. In general the location of the guest house is very good with shops, bars, restaurants and beach all within walking distance. Definitely worth considering to stop here if you want to visit Segesta historical site or the hot springs.

The room was a little dated and the room door would not close from the outside without a key- In fact after the maid had been to clean the room, the door was left ajar, which we were bit concerned about. The bathroom was clean but not very modern. The car parking was on the street, so not directly in front of the apartment and the reception and breakfast room was about 350m further down the hill.

Very central yet quiet. We visited in December and stayed not in the main building but in a “dipendenza” nearby. Nice big room with a balcony. Good breakfast in the main building.

The room was a bit cold when we arrived (we stayed there in December and the room has no heating). It was fine after we turned on the air conditioning (on heat) but it would have been nice if that had been done for us before we arrived.

Reception staff were lovely and very welcoming, gave us lots of local tips and knowledge to help us enjoy our time in Castellammare del Golfo. The apartment was plenty big enough for the 3 of us, and was tidied daily. Great location, just a short walk into the centre. Would definitely stay again :)

very nice hotel staff, the location is perfect, next to the sea, close to the restaurants, easy parking. the breakfast was amazing with lots of choices and everything was homemade. great place!

breakfast was rich and tasty. Very good. The room was on ground flour which was very convinient. The location in the main touristic area, near the old port. Beautiful to go out in the evening. Rosaria was the receptionist . She was very very friendly and helpful. She helped with the parking arrangement and supplied laundery drying equipment,

The only little problem was the shower , the equipment was not stable enough

Definitely exceeded our expectations for the very good price. The room was very nice and the photos do not do it justice. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is wonderful, with a lot of delicious homemade food and coffee. The location is also perfect, just beside the town centre, with parking in the street right outside.

not everyone speaks English - google translate totally worked sometimes you could feel the smell of damp (smell of an old building) in the room equipment in the room is a little bit old - needs general renovation.

Breakfast was tasty and we were even offered an extra cup of coffee:)

We were three in our room (with place for four), but the room had just one chair and in order to sit on the nice balcony, it wasn't very helpful with just one chair available, so we borrowed another one from the halfway. It was ok, just to enjoy the balcony would be nice at least two chairs, three would be better, and those could foldable.
