This is a unique place where to stay. It is not a normal hotel, you cannot come and go at any time because there is no reception. However, sleeping in a historical building like this villa is a real experience. The lady that hosts the building is lovely and helpful.
It is important to make clear that is not an hotel. The building is a historical villa and the guest has to be extremely respectful of the room and furnitures. We enjoyed the stay but it is not for everyone.

Very beautiful old house with history, beautiful garden well kept, nice owner and helpful when needed in constant contact, very close to the store, laundry, cafe, possibility for walks in nature, behind the house and garden - area for walks in nature, summering comfortable and pleasant stay
1. maybe the bells in nearby church are too loud and too early in the morning for some (of course it's not the house's fault) 2. laundry only for a fee, which should be included in the price in such appartment. 3. it was a little bit tiring to make sure that the children are not too loud because it disturbs others

It's totally charming, gives you a special experience of an old manor or villa, yet still affordable. Beautiful furniture, huge garden outside, very clean, well equipped. .
You have to walk to your (private) bathroom one floor higher, but it didn't really bother us, the bathroom was huge and modern. There was no key for the bathroom, which bothered me a bit, but the housekeeper said that people got locked inside, so she took it. That was a bit strange, but otherwise she was kind and helpful. I missed some fresh bread for the breakfast.

Very large apartment, well equipped, decent coffee machine, quiet location. Beautiful park as "backyard". Good heating when it is cold outside. Owner was in contact with us via telephone and arranged improvement promptly when we asked for it.
Lots of room for improvement in the cleaning department. If you do not look too closely, it is fine. If I book a youth hostel, I will not complain. This B&B is not a bargain and should meet the standard, meaning a toilet should also be clean and not just disinfected. Rug in the hall would need a thorough cleaning, hair of a dozen cats on it??? Lots of dead bugs on all the window sills. The caretaker was "not amused" when we pointed that out. Wine glasses would be nice to have but not absolutely necessary. Breakfast as described in other reviews...packaged sweets. Thank you to the owner for arranging something without sugar, both of my travel companions have diabetes and would not have been able to eat anything offered.

This is an incredibly beautiful old mansion. It was an honour to be allowed to stay in a place of such rich history. And the wonderful Mrs Laura ensured our stay was exceptional. We lived it.

We spent one night in this property. We arrived very late, but was warmly welcomed . I read a lot of reviews and checked the pictures, but it exceeded all our expectations. We 5 of us stayed in the Attic apartment, it was very roomy and we had plenty of space and many beds to choose from. The beds on the rooms were ver comfortable, the air condition cooled the apartment nicely. There were even 2 bathrooms. We had a luxurious Italian style breakfast in the room, chilled water in the fridge. In the morning before our departure we got a private tour of the house to see the nicely preserved family heritage by the owner herself, who told us about the history of the Mansion too. She speaks Englis perfectly and was really kind. It is easy to find and super close to the motorway, so a very convenient stopover with a unique extra touch.

The old furniture like in a museum.
We have to be very careful about old things.

It seemed staying in the museum with antique objects everywhere, unique experience. The private bathroom was fantastic, as huge as the room itself. Definitely a hotel with atmosphere, you can't actually even call it a hotel, it's more like being a guest of some duke or other noble person 😆 the garden behind the villa is also picturesque
The breakfast is italian+ only croissant from supermarket ( not bakery), some jam and butter, biscuits and fruit. Who is used to continental breakfast may suffer a bit. The bells of the church just beside were ringing quite early and for a long time - of course it's no fault of the villa but may interfere with your sleep
