This is an incredible establishment. Francesca and Cristina were very friendly, helpful and informative. From the absolutely beautiful building and furnishings, the central location immediately overlooking the main city square, to the terrific breakfasts with everything you could ask for tailored to each room's specific tastes, Domus Iulii was overnight highlight of our entire honeymoon, and made our trip to Cividale so much better than we had even expected.

The bed was a little firm but not so much that it interfered with a good night's sleep. Everything else about Domus Iulii more than made up for it.

The BnB was charming, clean, comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was complete with a beautiful continental breakfast with jams, freshly baked croissants, pastries and fresh bread. Eggs were offered any style you desired. Service was welcoming and on point.

The mattress in our room was soft in some places that made it a bit uncomfortable during the evening. There isn't much else that needed improvement. The bathroom was clean with fresh towels and toilettries. There were extra blankets and pillows in the armoire closet.

Located right in the town center Domus iulii was the best choice for a one night stop in Cividale. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and the bed was also very comfortable. The windows were overlooking the main square. Francesca and Christina are amazing hosts they have event brought Nutella croissant from the next door bakery for my daughter as she preferred that over the jam filled one. I am sure we will come back for a longer stay!

Our host, Francesca, was exceptional, as was our room, the breakfasts and overall location. Free parking for the two nights we were there, was within easy walking distance. Cividale is a beautiful city and you are right in the heart of it at Domus iulii, and yet it is very quiet. Highly recommend - every room has so much character and Francesca is such a wonderful host.

Nothing - everything was very well done.

What a beautiful property. It was located right in the cent of town so everything was walkable. The rooms are well appointed and had air conditioning which was extremely important because of the extremely high temperatures. The breakfast was amazing and they were extremely accommodating and sensitive you your likes and dislikes.

Our room was on the 3rd floor (US) and there is no elevator. While we're we ok Incould see this being a problem for some especially when checking in or out with large luggage.

Excellent accommodations for visiting Cividale del Friuli and the Natisone valleys. The setting is an old building just half a block from the Duomo and the central Piazza, near the main tourist sites and the Devil's bridge over the stunning Natisone River. The staff was gracious, the price modest, the room was comfortable and tidy - the breakfast was outstanding! The staff even loaned me a bicycle to ride the short bike trail along the river to Pergessimo (a short, family-friendly route along the beautiful river and across vineyards for 5k each way; a section of the much longer Alpe Adria bike trail).

Francesca was very kind and hospitable and asked us multiple times about our wishes. She also provided clear instructions about reaching the place and answered promptly when asked about our time of arrival. The beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was exceptionally clean and lovely to stay in. We will definitely come back and we highly recommend it to everyone searching for a comfortable stay in a wonderful location, including an amazing and varied breakfast :)

The owner was super friendly and provided us with the important information about the historic sights and was always ready to help. The apartment was beautiful and well equiped. It was directly in the city centre so the location could not be better but still it was quiet. Breakfast was delicious and was from local producers. We will certainly visit again. Thank you for a nice stay.

we only stayed for a night. Check in was uncomplicated, we received some good informations (parking/restaurant), room was renovated and in good condition, next Morning they served an excellent breakfast. A nice stay in Cividale del Friuli!

We´ve not been disturbed by the road but the city church with its bells was preset as we slept with open window : - )

Breakfast was very nice and the friendly host was very flexible when it came to extra demands. The hosts were super friendly and helpful, and also gave good restaurant recommendations.

The only thing they could improve is improving the coffee quality at breakfast, for Italian standards it was below average
