Valentino and Emilio were amazingly helpful, always available with anything you need including recommendations. The rest of the staff were amazing as well. There are not enough words to describe the property and the rooms. Loved every minute of our stay. Had a feeling of disappointment when we had to leave because we enjoyed our stay here so much. They were also accommodating with the breakfast since we were vegetarians. Would highly recommend staying here. Really wish we could have stayed more days here. Perfectly located also, was a shortish to all the towns and villages that we visited.

Best hotel I have ever experienced! Everything about this stay was amazing. The hotel and grounds were absolutely stunning. The staff were incredibly helpful, attentive and welcoming. Perfect place to stay for relaxing by the pool. 15 minute taxi into Fasano and close to some beautiful destinations for a day trip. The chef was good enough to work in any London restaurant. Reception were extremely helpful and booked all our taxis which just made everything easier. I really struggled to get up from my sun lounger and leave on the last day. I have gushed about Borgo dei Lecci to all my friends and family since I’ve come home.

This is a great hotel with really lovely helpful staff. The grounds are beautiful & the area around the swimming pool is very relaxing. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. It was let down by the on-site restaurant being closed as it is in a very rural location.

The hotel restaurant was closed. We were told the restaurant is only open on Saturday and Sunday at the moment but we stayed Sunday and Monday & it was never open but no reason given. Staff did recommend a local restaurant which we used but had to drive to. Could have walked, about 20 mins, but no path on the road for walking back in the dark. This was disappointing for us.

We loved literally everything!! We couldn’t asked more for our staying in Puglia, the location allowed us to reach and explore the villages around. So we found the location very convenient, by car in 15/20’ max we could go to Alberobello, Locorotondo, Ostuni, Monopoli, Polignano and so on. Beside the location, Emilio & the staff welcomed us and did everything they could to make our staying simply perfect. One of many things we loved here is that the hotel is giving for free to the customers access at their beachclub in Torrecanne (sun beds incl with no fee) - this is a top service to offer in Puglia considering how expensive these things are. What else? The gardens, the pool, the peace you can experience here is unique. We loved our room partially in the trullo, was fresh and bed soo comfy - slept soo good! Room was cleaned up every day with refill of fresh water in the fridge. Was so nice to wake up in this paradise .. enjoying the lovely breakfast where the sweet Tonia prepare every day fresh homemade cakes. We will definitely come back next year, thanks to all the staff!! Best, Francesca and Camil

We had the perfect stay at Borgo dei Lecci. It is a quiet paradise in a beautiful, authentic Italian town. We loved the most: the pool (no splashy children playing on inflatables!); the steam room; the comfy bed; the wonderful gardens humming with butterflies with many places to sit; the fruit at breakfast (especially the figs and peaches!); and the town of Selva Di Fasano which we expected to have nothing going on but in fact seems to be a place where many Italians go on their own holidays. There was a nightclub, several cheap bars, a shop/cafe and an events venue which had bands on various nights and was great fun. What more can you ask for? You will need to hire a car to get around, which we did and were able to explore the surrounding area, including Fasano, Ostuni, Monopoli, Castellana Grotte and Polignano a Mare. There is a hair-raising drive up the hill that includes 8 u-bends! You will struggle without a car unless you want to not leave the town or use a taxi, which we did do one of the nights and were helped out by a staff member of which taxi service to use.

Just a suggestion, but we found the incessant ambient house music played everywhere a bit much, especially at breakfast. Sometimes we just wanted to listen to the birds and the sounds of nature. The service for drinks were occasionally slow but this seems to be the Italian way! Also, the mosquitoes were absolutely vicious - but not the hotel's fault. The room door opens directly outside so it's very important to keep closed at all times - maybe we learnt this too late.

Beautiful grounds, so we’ll kept & clean. The hotel is dreamy, every area is full of sweet scented flowers. The gym is equipped with new equipment. Staff are wonderful. Pool is the perfect sun trap, always beds, with ambient music around. Our bedroom was a great size, the bed was super king & so comfy. I’m pregnant & requested extra pillows which were there when we arrived. The shutters & curtains meant total darkness but also the option to have all open with bug net covers if you want to let the light flood in. Strong shower & ample fresh towels daily. I arrived feeling pretty tense & left feeling very chiiiiillllllll. Location wise it’s good, 30 mins drive to beautiful villages & beaches.

Would be lovely if the rooms had dressing gowns. Would have loved a few more desert options on the dinner menu. Tiny changes to an otherwise perfect stay.

The Hotel is located in an old renovated building located with a beautiful garden surrounding it. It was the perfect place for us to spend days relaxing at the pool or as a starting point for trips to surrounding places like Polignano a Mare or Alberrobello. The staff is really friendly and made us feel welcome. The breakfast offers different fruits, bread and daily specials like Omelette. You can chose to eat lunch or dinner at the restaurant as well. We often enjoyed an iced coffee at the pool or pasta at lunch. Overall we had a great time and it is definitely worth spending a few nights here!

During breakfast you can also chose from different cereals served in small plastic packages. A more sustainable and also more visual appealing option to present it should be considered.

The restaurant staff is extraordinary and the breakfast and food delicious...a special thumbs up to Antonia who is really a jewel. Had the best Octopus of my life so far! The pool area is very calm and nice and the loungers very comfortable. The water is now (early October) for most people too cold to swim. I did not care - I was in. The gardens and the grounds are really beautiful. The room was totally fine and had everything we needed. Lovely towels. The cleaning staff does a great job! Hotel very helpful with restaurant reservations - the communication via WhatsApp was very smooth. Was lovely to see that the whole staff had lunch together. Seems they have a good working atmosphere.

The bed could have been a bit harder - at least for our taste. We know that this is a topic that is one of the hardest for hotels: some like it hard some soft. The check in procedure was a bit atmospheric "cold". We had the feeling we interrupted the reception staff of whatever she was doing. Maybe a little welcome drink or at least a smiling face would have been nice.

The complete experience. Friendly staff who give high end service, the food in the restaurant, both the breakfast and dinner, are amazing. Beautiful location in the centre of Puglia. easy to reach familiar places, wineries and the beach. After a nice day trip, amazing food, you can take a wonderful shower and then you step in this totally comfortable bed, take a good night sleep and wake up to this purely fantastic breakfast: Pure relaxation, 100% we're coming back here.

That we went in April not June or July, Next time we come in the summer, so we can enjoy the pool and the garden even more!

Everything. It was a dream stay. Quiet, relaxing, nothing was too much for the staff. Antonia in the bar/restaurant looked after us magnificently and nothing was too much trouble for her. We can't thank her enough. Reception were helpful and kind and the hotel had a beautiful boutique charm about it. If you want a Puglian get away, where it's just about you and for you to recharge your batteries then this is the place. We were very sad to leave.
