Wow, where to start! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful with any request. The food was exceptional - the breakfast bar is absolutely insane and we ate at the restaurant almost every night! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the spa was such a nice space to relax and unwind every evening. We used the e-bikes and toured the whole valley which was so fun! I cannot rave enough about this hotel, highly recommend!

Honestly I don't have any negative feedback for this hotel. Maybe I would suggest the spa to be open earlier in the day (only open 4-8pm), but other than that, I wouldn't change a thing!

Spacious and clean apartment with stunning view, stellar breakfast and a wide array of amenities, served by a team of friendly and caring staff. 1. The apartment features an affluent space and is reasonably well-designed: - Shower and toilet in separate rooms - Loads of storage space - Balcony accessible through both living room and bedroom - Facilities clean and neat 2. Amenities are fabulous: - Has a c. 2m rooftop panoramic warm swimming pool with unbelievable view of the Dolomiti mountains - Sauna area features dry, wet, shower and relax room, open through 16:00-20:00, and is must-try - Offers tickets for public transport - Tells you what’s on around the town 3. Complimentary breakfast is fresh, healthy, and offers a wealth of options, and is, so far, the best in the Alps: - Signature egg dishes available - choose from omelettes/ scrambled/ fried, with sausages and avocado - Features a bewildering number (100+ I think?) varieties of cold cuts, fruits, patisseries, drinks and sweets - The hotel was kind enough to (spontaneously) reserve a window-side table with our family name tag on it 4. The view is, simply put, stunning. Not only can we view it at rooftop, but even on the balcony we can have almost as good a view. 5. Last but not least, the staff members are so welcoming and caring, willing to go the extra mile in helping out when we were encountering issues not related to our stay in the hotel. They deserve 12 out of 10.

Really trivial things: 1. Phone in the room didn’t quite work 2. Bit difficult to figure out which switch is for which light 3. Location is perfect within Val di Funes, it is just that Funes is a bit remotely located - it nothing wrong with the hotel

We had booked Viel Nois as a relaxation stay during our road trip and it exceeded our expectations. Between the well designed room, the friendly and attentive staff, the amazing breakfast and all the small details our stay was perfect. With access to the mountain view hotel Spa and free E-bikes to explore the area, even the price felt adequate.

Maybe the view in our room was not the best, since the village's main street was very dominant, but we had nothing really to complain about.

Incredible experience I had at Viel Nois Guest House. Design is incredible and cozy, high quality materials and comfortable bed. Balcony was a pleasure to have for a nice view. Breakfast was one of the most extravaganza experience I’ve had. Everyone staying there needs to experience it. Dinner was delicious at the restaurant, and very affordable.

We loved everything about Viel Nois! Stop looking and book this hotel! Breakfast - exceptional! So much variety. Staff - extremely polite and accommodating Room - fantastic! Comfy bed, spacious, fluffy towels, & a lovely view of the mountains Restaurant - delicious! We ate here for dinner twice. EBikes - such a great bonus! We had a blast exploring on them! We especially loved the roof-top hot tub. So much thought was put into every single detail. We wished we could have stayed longer!

The breakfast was incredible. Literally over 100 items to choose from. Completely over the top. Never seen anything like it. The rooftop whirlpool and deck was perfect for picture taking. On a hot summer day the pool temperature was was just right, not too hot.

We visited during a heat wave, and the rooms have no AC, and the regular room (without balcony) was unbearably hot with no cross-draft. Our room might have been above the kitchen contributing to the heat. Leaving the windows wide-open eventually cooled it down in the late evening, but that brought in street noise & conversations until 1am and bright morning sun at 5am, so we needed earplugs and eyeshades to get sleep. Possibly the balcony rooms on higher floors were OK.

The accommodation is very easy to find with free parking outside. Easy access to the main towns and one hour away from the main ski areas. There is also lots of hiking trails for the summer. The place is new and very clean and the staff is lovely. Always with a smile and very very friendly. The rooms are big and very clean and everything is taken care of in detail. There is also a restaurant for dinner with very good value for money. The breakfast has a huge variety of a really good quality. Overall, a great place to stay in the Dolomites as a couple or as a family.

Highlight of the trip - the hospitality here is incredible - so thoughtful and personal. This was such a better experience versus everywhere else I stayed. If you want quaint and beautiful, this is the absolute peak. I wish I stayed here more than 2 nights. Breakfast, the rooftop tub, the ebikes, the dark curtains, the easy access to the market across the dress, the view from the roof, the access to the hiking by a short car drive - incredible. I will be back!

We had an amazing stay at Viel Nois. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and in a perfect location. They really take care of every detail. We will definitely be back!

As a suggestion, the spa area could be kept for adults only. We tried to use the jacuzzi outdoors and there were three young kids so we just stayed for 5 minutes and it was not as enjoyable as it could have been.

Viel Nois guesthouse is a one of a kind place to stay and relax! Exceptional rooms and wellness area. You must eat at their restaurant, for lunch and for dinner! It tastes delicious. The breakfast buffet is great too. They offer various fresh fruits and everything you can imagine for breaktfast (from German Weißwurst to Südtiroler Apfelstrudel). Also, I haven't experienced such friendly and cheerful staff in a long time! Highly recommended!
