this property was excellent. The room was specious and very well equipped with everything we needed.the bed was very comfortable and was adorned with top shelf sheets and pillows. The bathroom was very big and the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. the towels where new and fluffy. The property had a little kitchen area and came with water, coffee and refrigerator/freezer. Check in was easy and the young lady met us upon our arrival. breakfast was served one block away at a cafeteria. Great cappuccino and pastries made on the premises. The owner helped us so much by securing us transportation to the train station and was so generous with his time. There was nothings we did not enjoy about our stay.

the most beautiful place we stayed in Sicily. decorated with impeccable taste, every need has been thought of. the rooms are spacious, the ceilings are high, the furniture is very beautiful, the shower is hot and luxurious. there was fresh fruit for us in a small shared kitchen, and breakfast was provided via vouchers to the city’s best pastry shop. Giuseppe was so kind, gracious, and gentle. he is a geologist and one can view his impressive collection in the common area. a gorgeous vacation in a real palace!

Spacious bedroom, full of light, stylish furniture, comfortable living room, tasteful design, equipped kitchenette. You share the living room and the kitchenette with other guests and can socialize. 100 meter from the central square

Parking in the street is possible, but may be difficult

Superb location just off the town square. Giuseppe picked us up from the station at a moment’s notice and delivered us to it at the end of our stay. He arranged a taxi to Villa Romana and advised on travel arrangements and places to eat. Nothing was too much trouble

Definitely the host (helped us with parking on a busy Friday night, checked in regularly to make sure we are OK) and the level of cleanliness in the apartment, as well as attention to detail (complimentary fresh fruit and water upon arrival, local sweets throughout the stay, regular linen and towel change). Breakfast place was very friendly as well and had great coffee (and a choice of local Sicilian / Italian breakfast pastries (only sweet, but very tasty)).

We had an absolutely perfect stay. The B&B looks and feels brand new and it's very clean (daily cleaning). The host Joseph was incredibly friendly. When we asked him where to buy beach towels, he bought them for us and when we asked him how to get a taxi to the train station, he offered to drive us. The location is also right in the center of the town and our stay in the B&B gave us an authentic feel of Gela.

There were modern designed rooms in old palace, perfect match! Great furniture and everything you need. Size of the room is like in hotel. Very nice designed bathroom. Perfect balconies for more light than just a windows.

Colours of the room where not very positive. Grey walls. Black wood luxurious furniture. Even you are not that kind to manage things like this at home, you would like it.

Very nice and comfortable room with kitchen and living area, the best part is the owner, gave us some geological knowledge who was an former president of Gela geographic society.

It was hard to find good parking spot, the owner gave up his space so we can finally park. Many unhappy divers followed our car and gave us loud hunks…..

Very spacious room close to the center. The city itself is not a great place to be, but okay for one night. The room was good and clean, but there was a very strange smell in the bathroom. We were also welcomed with some sweets, very nice.

This was my best accomodation in Sicily. The staff is nice and helpful (they even booked for me an appointment for a covid test, because I was having difficult due the language). The building is renovated and in great conditions. The room is spacious and has 2 balconies, the bed is very comfortable, everything is very clean!
