Good location, within walking distance of the city centre. Very friendly staff. Clean. A very simple breakfast. Garage in the hotel but is very tight. The room is small but enough for one night.

In the reservation it was written that there is no advance payment. When we left, when we paid the bill, we were told that 171 euros were blocked on the card for the reservation and that it would be unblocked because now everything has been paid. After 3 interventions through the Booking.com website, the money was unblocked 3 weeks later, which caused certain problems because we were on the road and expected to have the money at our disposal.

The hotel was extremely comfortable, very clean, friendly, located in the great location, and not least very charming.  extremely comfortable beds. We had a family room for four, and that was one of the best rooms for a family. 

Very limited parking spots. We ended up parking across the street in the parking garage and paid an expensive price upon our departure. This we did not expect as we were told that the hotel had a private parking. We were told after that all the parking spots were booked and we had to park elsewhere. 

The hotel is in a very good central location, which you reach easily by foot or by train (Brignole station is across the road). The staff is so lovely - professional, accommodating and friendly! The hotel (and room) is very clean.

I would like to suggest that the rooms are fitted with functioning hairdryers. I had to ask for one as the one fitted in the bathroom turns off after approx. 30-60 seconds. It was not a problem to get another one, but if the room had one from the start it would help greatly.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, on check in I had had an issue with my pre payment and they were absolutely understanding about it. The location is perfect it’s literally across the road from one of the main train stations (Genova brignole) and a bus depot so no lengthy walks to a transport link. The main bit of Genova is less than 5 minutes walk and the area seemed safe. If I was visiting Genoa again I would stay here again :)

There was no issues with my stay

The hotel was 3 minutes' walk from the train and metro stations, and there were cafes, souvenir shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. In fact, it was located within walking distance from the city center. The room interior was elegant and functional. The breakfast was really far beyond expectation. The staff members were efficient, forthcoming and polite. The hotel was the best I had had lived over the past few years. I would definitely book this hotel again if I visit Genoa again.

The location was fantastic - literally just across the road from the train station, and many eating establishments within a few minutes walk. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Shower was hot and had good pressure.

The rooms could use better sound insulation. Whenever someone in a neighbouring room flushed a toilet, the sound of the water was loud in the wall behind the bed. Also noise from the corridor and from the breakfast room was quite loud but luckily it was quiet at night so it wasn’t a problem.

Although a bit out of the centre it is next to the metro to go to Porto Antigo where everything touristic happens in Genoa. Excellent breakfast for a cheap additional charge of 6 Euros. Clean room with amenities and many cable channels on TV such as Sky sport and films. Friendly receptionists tried to help despite being a bit short staffed at times.

No remote control for air conditioner, or at least we couldn't find it. Frigobar was not plugged in when we arrived and did not seem to work when I managed to locate the plug in a hidden space above and behind the fridge. It was later fixed though. TV volume was so quiet even on maximum that we could not hear the dialogue. Only two flat pillows and no more were available. We had to improvise with a rolled up blanket to raise our heads up. Long wait for slow elevators in the morning when guests are competing for their use with the cleaning staff. Old attractive building completely hidden by scaffolding, which was a shame.

Nice place. Great staff. Staff were very helpful, I had some work to finish up,they assisted with printing ,courier collection etc ( even in English😃).great value breakfast.great location. Allowed for a bag drop as I was early but was given an early check in as the cleaning staff are awesome there. Water ,snacks and juice in the mini fridge. Very happy

Perfect location. Very close to Genova Brignole railway station and the old town - city center. Walking distance to the port. Very clean, warm and confortable room. The room was cleaned daily and we received sweets, salty snacks, still and sparkling water, juice and ice tea for free every day - highly appreciate.

The bathroom was too small for all the objects it hosted. Not enough natural light in the room.

This is a beautifully maintained older style hotel. The bed is comfortable and room and bathroom spotlessly clean. The breakfast was the best value I've encountered in Italy and had an excellent selection of foods, even freshly cooked eggs and bacon. The free minibar was restocked daily and included water, soft drink, savoury and sweet snacks. The old elevator was amazing!
