Giovanni was very welcoming. although was fun trying to communicate as we had very little italian and he new very little english, which was all part of the fun. The resort is not on the main tourist route but had all we needed for a short relaxing stay, about 10 minutes walk from the station. the property is across a small service road from a semi-private beach. We appeared to be the first guests of the season so everything was being newly delivered including sun beds & parasols. Juliana was on hand at Breakfast and spoke a little mor english, she was very sweet and the breakfast was adequate - continental style which filled us up till early evening. There is a great little restauarant which Giovanni recommended called No. 1, thorougly recommend as they had great food and service. A little supermarket was across the road and there wal also a lovely little open air cafe adjacent to the hotel. The resort is a little out of the way from most tourist attractions, however don't let this put you off from going as it's a great place to unwind in between sightseeing. i would definitely return and recommend for a few days stay to relax by the beautiful beach with lovely clear sea.. Giovanni was supeer helpful taking us and our luggage back to the station saving the walk as it was quite hot.

the followings are what could improve for future stay: breakfast could improve, front yard needs attention, the community could improve cleanliness of the neighborhood

Staff and Crew was excellent, - stayed just for one night, - but when back in Sicily we will be here

The property was in a very good location in relation to the village and the coast. Nice room, clean and tidy with an upgrade to sea view. Only a tree stopped the view of the nearby Islands too. The couple who looked after us were lovely.

Unfortunately there was something on the plastic seats on our terrace which caused us both to itch so much we both had to shower and change our clothes. We were the only guests, they had only been open a week and it showed a bit; we suspect whatever we suffered from was a residue from not being cleaned since last season, very much like fibre glass fibres, so unlikely to affect anyone else, just bad luck. The village, quite frankly was a bit of a dump but again, maybe a lot more lively if you go there in July or Sept. The area in general was scruffy and not what a sea side holiday maker would find attractive in my opinion.
