the situation is very good. the beach facilities, the pool, outdoor showers all great and well maintained. Room was large with a great terrace and shaded. Breakfast is excellent if you accept that there is a strong Italian influence

The down side of the private situation is that you need to drive to go out in the evening which suited us but was not for everyone. The room terrace was shaded because of the normal summer climate which suited us but might not suit real sun worshippers. A choice of a smaller set menu would be good. Four courses is too much for us so we never had it and missed out on some Sardinian specialities.

View from the balcony was awesome. Quite good location near many really beautiful beaches (car needed) and the private beach was nice too. Good breakfast with wide selection. Reception lady was really helpful.

Overpriced. Premises and cleanliness didn’t meet the price. With this price range one would expect nicer room and superior service.

The location and serenity of it is absolutely stunning. It attracts a different style of travelers/ tourist with a level of class. The service on the poolside, near the beach, towels, just everything is so good that you will quickly decide not to leave the resort style hotel. The food served for dinner (a la carte) was really excellent. As well, the breakfast was really good. The room, though just the standard, was really cosy and comfortable. The personal remember your name in just hours and make you feel at home right away.

The food quality at lunch was average, the breakfast box for our early stay below average.

This is such a great hotel and the pictures are a little dated because the hotel has been updated since the pics. The staff are amazing

If I had to find something then the beds are a little hard but it didn’t spoil things at all. Also our room had a little bit of a smell from the drains in the toilet but again, it is such a wonderful place it didnmt really make any difference. Taxis are hard to come by and a little expensive but that’s a Sardinia thing. You just need to plan and add a little more to your budget if you want a taxi.

The service was wonderful to include front desk, wait, and housekeeping staff. Breamfast was delicious and always a fine spread. The view from the terrace every morning was unreal, a picture perfect setting overlooking the sea out towards the island of Tavolara and Molara. The marina had boats to rent which made for one of our favorite days out on the sea traveling to the clear turquoise pools if Molara then later docking at Tavolara Island to have lunch at the Corona Restaurant.

staff were excellent- checked us in 2 hour early. let us use the gym straight away. they spoke excellent English and were so kind. the food in the restaurant was also excellent. the octopus and tuna were fantastic.

our tv did not work. then our phone and our air conditioning. as we only stayed one night we managed but it was annoying that nothing worked in the room. they gave us a 10% discount on our food and drinks as an apology for the lack of tv.

Overall an amazing stay, key pros: - Location and private beach, also close to very nice public beaches (e.g. la Cinta) - Very competent and friendly staff - Great breakfast/lunch - Very intimate - Cleanliness

- Beds could be more comfortable - Dinner price/quality could be improved

This hotel has the most gorgeous location with views of the picture perfect coastline and island in the distance, plus a beautiful private beach. These elements are by far the property's greatest asset and the style of the architecture blends in harmoniously with many individual buildings with terracotta tiled roofs and lovely planting throughout. Open spaces with lots of white offer stunning views and you really feel part of nature here. Our room was a Junior Suite with a great terrace and artisanal interior design. The pool bar staff were fantastic and we loved the espresso, lovely house white wine and snacks at this bar.

For this price a must-have is a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep - and unfortunately this is where the hotel fell down. The bed in our suite was two singles mattresses and two single bed frames pushed together. This created a huge crevice in the bed causing sore necks and backs in the morning, far from ideal! We also found the food in the restaurant a little bland. Great ingredients of course (this is Sardinia!) but uninspiring menu with even some classics missing if you didn't fancy their creations. Aside from the pool bar staff who were really accommodating, the rest of the staff were not very welcoming.

The location, the beach, the amazing view of the sea + the garden / planting of the hotel is beautiful.

The food in general needs a lot of improvement for this price. We found both the breakfast and the lunch by the pool quite dissapointing. With better food the hotel could really be something special.

The aperitivo in the evening, the only food available was a few bites of bread and octopus. Very poor for a four stars hotel. And if you don’t like octopus, the only alternative is basic crisps. Come on, a 4 stars hotel in the country of the best aperitifs! Make an effort! The reception and part of the room were a bit dated, a fresh touch would make it perfect
