When I booked this Hotel I expected small familly run hotel but instead found very well run professional hotel with super kind staff, confy and quiet rooms. It's definetly hi class accomodation. Just take a look at guest book on the wall oposite to reception. Some very known names are there. Perfect beds (on the hard side) quiet, nice bathroom and everyday cleaning service. Hi-class like I said.

I will prefere more traditional or local brekfast giving the fact we are in Emilia Romagna. Not that breakfast is bad or something but the same one you will find in Bruxelles or Hamburg or...

We were passing through this city and we were lucky to book this hotel very cheaply at the last moment. The room was very clean, large in size, the bed too, it was very comfortable and pleasant to sleep in this bed. I really enjoyed the communication with the hotel staff. Everyone was very friendly, they told us the history of the hotel and various interesting details. We enjoyed walking around this small and cozy town. The breakfast was also quite good and varied. We left the car for the night right outside the hotel for free and paid only 2 euros for the first hours of the next day.

Very strong audibility from the street, corridors and neighboring rooms. We had a family in the neighborhood with children who screamed very loudly, and drunk tourists screamed very loudly on the street in the middle of the night, but I understand that nothing can be done about this, only if soundproofing is installed.

Location perfect for us. Lugo very pretty. Was a mix up and hotel had accidentally cancelled my booking for the first night but they accepted this was their error and found me alternative accommodation. Only issue was they said it was 5 mins walk away but it was like an hour and was unsuitable for me and my two sons to walk there carrying luggage. Also there seems to be a shortage if taxis in Lugo but hotel always helpful in calling me a cab Hotel is beautifully decorated.

Pleasant comfortable and quiet room overlooking the inner courtyard. It had tea and coffee making facilities in the room which we liked and used. The hotel's parking was difficult to find and very tight. However it made staying there possible. And I really appreciated that it was very secure.

Parking was included in the price and then I ended up being charged 10 euros for parking and I didn't notice until after we had left. This was the only negative of an otherwise excellent stay.

Great hotel and very very friendly staff (special thanks to Michaele and the kind ladies who always made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable). Good breakfast with diverse options (both Italian and international), and having diner at the hotel’s restaurant was a very nice experience! Regarding the city, staying in Lugo is a good option to visit not only Bologna but also all of the charming cities in the region. Lugo itself is a cute place.

Perfect central location just a ten minute walk from the train station. The hotel feels very much a part of Lugo's life and culture. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked through the door with attentive and helpful reception staff. My single room was probably at the lower end of the scale but perfectly adequate, and with a comfortable guest size bed. Everything was clean. The furnishings looked new and the bathroom had a decent shower. I dined both evenings in the restaurant which I enjoyed with good dishes at reasonable prices.

I am traveling a lot, privacy and in business as well. This hotel is one of the best hotels I have been ever before ! Everything was perfect: staff - everybody smile, with plessure replying to your questions, advising. While check-in, we were informed, that we get the better standard room than we have booked, free of charge. We got suita, while we booken a triple room. Cleaness standard are really high: each day the room was cleaned, towels were changed, bedclothes was changed, coffee in the express machine was suplemented without limits. Wifi, clima, TV - everything worked perfectly. The room (suita) was really spacious, bed was really big and comfortable. Service on breakfest was really fantastic. The restaurant served really delicious dishes, of course with excellent italian wine, and the service-staff did their job really perfect, within the 1 week we couldn't have none objection to anything in the hotel restaurant, just nothing ! :) The location - small town Lugo - is very good when you want to travel to such famous places like Bologna, Ferrara, San Marino, Ravenna, Rimini, Modena, it is located very close to the highway. Despite the parking is on the public street, and lot of spaces is occupyed, however always, during 1 week our staying there, we found a place for parking at one of the neighboring street. The hotel neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Generally saying: everyting was perfect, and I am sure, if I will travel ever in future to this region if Italy, I will use definitely this hotel ! :)

Nothing. Everything was just super !

We were in one of the hotel's apartments and it was large and very comfortable. We ate breakfast and dinner in the hotel. The breakfast was good with a good choice of cereals, fruit, cakes, croissants, hot food, tea and coffee. The dinners were excellent and the staff very helpful and attentive. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and gave extremely helpful advise.

I did not dislike anything.

I enjoyed the coziness of the room and its modern-like facilities combined with other aesthetics such as the nice wall behind the bed's headboard. The hallway was equally aesthetically beautiful! However, I haven't tried the breakfast or the restaurant unfortunately so I cannot provide information about that.

There isn't much to say but the one thing I'd like to point out is just that in the room I was staying at, the shower door did not properly close and there was easily a mess to be made during a shower. The bed could have been a bit more comfortable but it wasn't really a deal-breaker for me.

Exceptional service from the staff. Comfortable bed and clean room. It has a parking lot! Walkable distance to services and the cathedral. At the restaurant, the waiter offered me a great red wine as per my characteristics request.

The seafood pasta at the restaurant could have had a bit less olive oil and other types of seafood, not just clams (:
