We were thrilled, excited and super happy. All the members of the staff were very nice, especially the restaurant staff. We were traveling with our 1 year old daughter and she loved it - the hotel is very baby friendly. The swimming pool was great for kids. The sea view from our balcony as well as from the restaurant terrace was beautiful. We paid for half board and were very happy with the quality of the food and service. The beach was a few steps from the hotel, with beautiful sand, shallow water, reserved area and sun beds for the hotel guests, hotel beach club where lunch, snacks and beverages were available. The beach was clean and was not overcrowded as most of it was reserved for different hotels and the area for the public was very limited. Even though the hotel is 3 star it feels like 4 star. We’ve been to many 4 and 5 star hotels and many of them could not compete with Valle Verde regarding the quality of the services and great atmosphere. We strongly recommend this place.

Fantastic location in a quiet area, the hotel has a a lot of beaufiful plants and nice decor/architecture, Spartaia beach is just 3 min walk inside the resort, and we liked that beach is protected from winds and being the beach a small size, it has a small number of persons compared to for example Procchio beach. We had dinner and breakfast seven days on the terrace of the hotel, enjoying a wonderful view on the sea and hills sorrounding Procchio gulf, and there was a very good atmosphere in the restaurant amongst guests and the restaurant service team. The restaurant is very well organized and service is excellent even for Swiss standards : accurate, fast, discreet and with a relaxed atmosphere. The quality of food, presentation of the dishes, variety were all excellent. All fish dishes were outstanding. We liked that the chef/maitre knew exactly which dishes were gluten-free and the gluten-free dishes were excellent. The paistry is made in-house and very very refined, every day 3 choices of cakes at breakfast and other 3 choices at dinner, we liked expecially the Pastiera cake. Dinner was EUR 25 per person which we consider excellent value, probably this is possible because at breakfast the guest decides the dish of the evening and this practice controls costs. We liked that very rarely a guest smoke at dinner so overall the restaurant was smoke free. Room was quiet and bed very confortable, air conditioning was not noisy. The hotel was a very good basis to do hiking and swimming in the beaches in the island. Overall it was one of our best stay in the world and congratulations go to the maitre, waiters, chefs, cooking personnel and hotel staff, which made our holiday memorable.
