My room had a great sunset view. I was positively surprised about the whole appearance of the room.(for 3* ) tasteful, new, bright- really very nice

They have a completely devasted ,rusty and wrotten pool- Their website says it will function again in July. ( hard to believe). I was not looking for a hotel with a pool but for their own reputation they would better have started with renovation earlier in the season or simply close it down completely.

Everything was perfect. The staff was very kindly and helpful. Breakfast were delicious. We are satisfied. In generally the place was perfect and close near the center of the beautiful town.

You are without mobile signal but we were informed about it before our accomodation. So it wasn't a problem for us.

The location above all. The cleanliness of the place overall ( the eating area, the room and the pool area). The enormous choice of goods at breakfast time. The owners Paolo & Simona. Very customer conscious and always helping out. The view all around and the quietness of the place.

Absolutely nothing!!

Wonderfully peaceful and clean accom. Perfect to access the picturesque town of Massa Marittima and its excellent Resteraunt's. Staff were wonderful and were 5 *star in assisting in our onward travel preparations. Would certainly recommend Hotel Girifalco . Neil & Wendy

Great and clean hotel, good price. The staff was very friendly. The location is also very nice, the old town of Massa Marittima is not far. We had a great stay there and we would love to come back when possible! 😊

Big nice room, quiet, with good A/C, parking space, near to city center (reachable on foot).

Very comfortable bed, spacious room and bathroom. Walking distance to the town. Clean rooms. Lovely olive tree garden - although not maintained Decent breakfast, but the coffee is not the one italy is famous for..

It's a 3* hotel so miracles are not expected, but The pool area is not as seen in the photos - i would say it is more "rustic". Around the place many items are hidden in the bushes (eg pet cage by the road), they seem to collect things for later, The man working there/owner doesnt seem to be nice, example: - asked for a bowl for the pet for water/food. In all places it never was a problem, here it seemed to be. Got a very very dirty plate & sticky of fat plastic bowl.. Sure for pet doesn't need to be nice&new but at least clean - when leaving had a new beach umbrella that thought some other people could use. Asked if they would like to share it with the guests. The response was "put it there" pointing with a finger. No "that's nice", no " thank you". Thought he had personal issue with me, but noticed he does not respond to other guests " good bye". Only the lady at the reception was smiling and quite nice.
