Staying here was our best choice and an amazing experience! The host was incredibly welcoming with a fantastic vibe. During breakfast, the atmosphere was delightful with great music, excellent coffee, delicious eggs, the homemade bread and sweets! The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained daily, and the surroundings were green oasis with clean pool. Very peaceful, relaxing quiet place. Matteo provided explanations and recommendations for dining options, attractions to visit, and beaches to explore. His restaurant recommendations were spot on, offering unreal dining experiences. But above all, Matteo and his well maintained place were simply outstanding.

Best place we stayed in our trip to Puglia. We had the best time at Tenuta Calitre. Matteo is a wonderful, attentive and friendly host who made us feel at home since the arrival. He gave us lots of recommendations and also came with us to a local shop/olive oil factory to help us choose some local products to take home. Breakfast was great with some local specialties, Matteo kept us company which was great too. The location is great to go to the best beaches in Salento, also close to Otranto and Lecce for day trips. We look forward to coming back to this little piece of paradise in Puglia ❤️

A great property decorated with style. It has a great yard with a beautiful pool in the midle. There are some animals that my daughter loved a lot. The breakfast was great and with abondand choises. The morning cakes are very delicious. Everything was great but the cherry on top is Matteo's hospitality. This property has the best host that i have ever met. He gave us directions where to go and enjoy the area as a true local. His advices and hospitality made our stay unforgetable.

It was all perfect.

This B&B has been created and maintained with lots of love, care and attention to detail. Excellent breakfast made of own produce and home made cakes, fruits and veggies from the garden, gorgeous ceramics and little wildflower arrangements, friendly, lovely and caring host, beautiful olive tree garden, cosy spacious rooms, generous and refreshing pool, tranquil atmosphere... It's simply perfect.

The only thing we didn't like was that we couldn't stay there longer as our vacation was over.

Such a nice place and what a friendly host! Perfect for a stay in the south of Italy near Lecce. Wonderful location with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. Delicious home made products for breakfast. Even gluten free products though the home made cakes by la mamma were much better. Would go there again and for a longer period!

The bed was a bit too hard for me.

Everything about it was perfect. The rooms and exceptional pool are set within a beautiful, peaceful olive grove scattered with interesting flowers and shrubs. Matteo was the perfect host, always there to help but respecting our privacy. Breakfast was fabulous, varied and all homemade.

Matteo is an outstanding host, very friendly, willing for exchanges with guests, good advices to visit the area, talks about travels around the world. Breakfasts are marvelous and we have enjoyed a lot these moments with Matteo. Tenuta Calitre is also a beautiful and peaceful place to relax for the family.

Tenuta Calitre is absolutely stunning, serene and perfectly located to see everything in the area. The breakfast was delicious, the homemade cakes irresistible and lounging by the pool between the olive trees was truly luxurious! Matteo and his family are the perfect hosts going above and beyond what is necessary to make your stay perfect.

The location was great (only few km from the sea and 1/2 h drive from Lecce), the host Mateo was very friendly and supporting, spent lots of time to please his clients, esp during the lovely breakfast with each day home made (by Mateo's mother) pastries. Worth mentioning is the large swimming pool, to cool down as temperature was 30+ degrees.

A very lovely B & B in the beautiful countryside. The atmosphere was inviting and Matteo and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were clean and the views were picturesque.
