Travelling by car the Hotel Conteverde is easy to find and has ample parking space. It is the second time we stayed here as the Hotel is in a quiet spot just at the edge of the town and industrial estate. The room (suite) is very spacious and offers all comfort to wish for. Good working air conditioning, a comfortable bed, shower room and a separate room with Spa Bath (like a Jacuzzi). Breakfast is good and plenty, certainly as Italian style breakfasts go. Coffee barista made, great. We did not make use of the restaurant in the evenings. Staff helpful and friendly. Housekeeping in particular. The ladies always have a greeting and a smile. From the Hotel we visit this part of Italy roughly between Reggio Emilia, Parma and Piacenza to see its Roman and Medieval past. The Hotel for us is well placed to roam the countryside and visit Castles, Manors, Villages, Musea and Archaeological sites. We do like Hotel Conteverde and will certainly visit again.

The Staff are so nice and kind. I was stuckt in the Traffic and could not be on the time at the hotel, I have called to the reservation desk they were so nice and helpful. I shall be at hotel at 12:00 am but I could not manage. I had family and a baby I was late at the hotel but they did not make this as a problem . Especially Mr Gabriel helped us so much. If I travel one more time, I will not hesitate to accommodate to the hotel

There were 9 vegetarians in our group who attended the same event. We found the breakfast acceptable but If a little more attention was given to the provision of the vegetarian alternative, that would have made it exceptional.

Booked last moment as travelling through Italy. Turned up late in the evening because of big delays with ferry company. Had a warm welcome from reception who managed to get us a sandwich and a drink. The room was spotless and the hotel has ample parking. The breakfast and staff were all A1. I would highly recommend this hotel 🏨👌😄

Nothing I would charge

Booked this after original accommodation cancelled on us, and we are glad they did. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, quiet at night bearing in mind it was busy. This hotel fitted the bill for what we wanted, just a short walk from the centre with a nice local's cafe bar across the road.

No minibar tariff or other information in the room. No hot drink facilities in the room.

This is a great value. My wife and I have stayed in over 500 accommodations in 23 countries over the past 10 years and have developed a good sense of value. This hotel is in our top 10 percentile of rated hotels for good service and value.

Leaving

Easy access from/to the highway, comfort of the room, delicious cousine, welcomed staff. Ideal place to stay, once you have some business around Parma / Regio Emilia and you come with your iwn car. Very quiet, a lot of parking lots, luxury rooms (ask for suite, it has great bathroom and spacious terrase ;0). Just great value for money, compared to slightly overpriced Parma hotels with similar or even lower standard.

Spacious parking within the grounds. From what I could see there is camera over-watch. Reception friendly, direct and to the point, In English. Room, well, a suite. We spoiled ourselves. Beds: good length and very comfortable. The hotel is quiet, no room noises nor from outside. Breakfast extensive. What is not there do ask for. There is a coffee dispenser. Better to ask the waitresses for coffee from the barista. All in all we felt at ease and rested after our few days stay. Sure to stay again, when in the area. In general the hotel is well placed to us use a a base visiting a very interesting area of Italy.

Not really a complaint but more of a suggestion: as I like to sit outside reading after a day out I missed a simple chair on the balcony. What I did not really like is the lack of privacy on the balcony. At each end the guestrooms open up to the same balcony. A lattice separation was not there (anymore?) like on the balcony on the other floor.

one night stay so not too much we could review but at least: + free safe and private parking + very good breakfast (not just a croissant and cafe) + fast and stable WiFi + large and well equipped bathroom + lovely surroundings and especially garden + nice and helpful staff speaking perfect English + great value for money (thanks to best offers) + Dada microbrewery not far away and worth a visit if you are into craft beer

almost nothing, maybe: - breakfasts get quickly crowded and hard to catch up for staff following all the Covid requirements so you might need to wait a while for a table - restaurant was either closed on arrival (after 7PM) or we didn't find it

Our room was the best we have ever had. It was enormous and had a spa bath as well as a shower. There was a long balcony with a view over gardens.the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was adequate but disappointing. We would have liked eggs and fresh fruit. The bread and croissants were chewy
