Staff Modern renovations Food Ambience Resort and spa offers Location Comfort of bistro Aurora in the bistro, Guisseppe in the main restaurant, the front desk staff, and the cleaning person were very attentive, friendly and professional. My time in the bistro was very nice thanks to Aurora, and Guiseppe gave me advice on my travels to Padua.

The bed was too firm. Is there an option for softer mattresses in the future?

Charming hotel. It was full of Christmas Spirit. The decor was old world with comfy couches, chairs, tables all through the lobby. They accommodated my dog and my gluten free diet. I have reservations for Christmas since it was so cheerful I couldn’t wait to go back again.

The closet had a strange bright light when you opened the door. The door was glass so I found no need for such a bright light. To get the light off, you had to close the closet and it screeched from the metal scraping.

Breakfast was awesome. We enjoyed the spa and the pools very much.

The dinner was just OK. It would be great to have a bit more knowledgeable waiters. It would be great if it was easier to exchange the bathrobes as there is no way to dry them out in the rooms. It became hot in our room and the AC was not turned on in the whole facility in May.

I traveled with three of my friends. We all booked separately, check in was easy, staff spoke English well, very accommodating and thorough. Hotel was clean, quiet, and relaxing.

A nice spa area and out door pool. The spa area is more modern that the hotel but the connection corridor between the two is in a bad state of repair.

This hotel is far from the advertised 5 stars. From the time we arrived we thought we had come in the back entrance. No one to meet us to help with our bags and we stood at reception wondering if anyone would appear. We were taken up to our room which was very underwhelming and did not look like the photos we had seen on the website. The rooms are advertised as 28sqm our room was a cramped 21sqm with a balcony of 1/2sqm meter wide running the length of the room and a view of weeds on an abandoned piece of land. The bathroom is also small. We had purchased breakfast with our room and arrived at breakfast at 9.40am breakfast closed at 10.30am. There was nothing left on the buffet table and nothing was replaced. It took us 20mins to order a coffee and when we asked for a menu thinking we would be able to order some breakfast we were given the dinner menu. Nothing else was offered to us. The English communication was poor in the dining room. We decided to go down the road to find something to eat. The hotel had an unusual vibe and we decided to cut our loss and check out 24 hours early . The hotel did give us a partial credit back towards the night we weren’t staying and we were grateful for that.
