Despite a stay of 14 days at the same location, our host Martina offered us a variety of delicious food for breakfast. Even fresh fruit was offered daily. It seemed that nothing was too much for her to give her guests a splendid stay. The room and bathroom were luxurious with various amenities. We had the best host ever during holidays. She assisted us in many ways with her own personal friendly touch. The B&B is located near many historical spots, near many ways of transportation to the islands (Procida, Ischia….), to places like Herculaneum, Pompeï, Paestum, Sorrento, Amalfi…… This combination gave us a top experience.

Martina is one of the nicest hosts Ive experienced when staying in a property on booking.com. She gave us loads of information for our stay about the best things to do in Naples. She also recommended a place to park our car for the time we were there (something we were a bit worried about when we arrived). The room was really beautiful and so well taken care of. We enjoyed the most amazing breakfast every morning on our little balcony. The bathroom was also perfect and had everything we needed. Room service was provided everyday including bottled water to the fridge and restocking of tea/coffee. Martina had even left us a lovely bottle of wine in our room when we arrived. Thanks so much Martina! We would definitely recommend Macchiato for those looking for a place in the hustle and bustle of Naples!

The room was very quiet, but the apartment is just off a very busy road and with the balcony doors open you can hear lots of beeping etc from the cars on the road. This didn't bother us (its Naples after all - what do you expect?) and when the windows were shut, you can hear very little from the outside world. A little haven away from the craziness of Naples!

We really loved our stay at Martina's B&B: - The room and bedding are really confortable. It is high quality and we can see the furniture has been chosen to last long term. - Everything was super clean in every little details. This is something really important to me to have a great stay :) Martina cleaned the room everyday. - Good communication with Martina a few days before the day and during the stay. She has created a website will all you need to know about Naples. It is really helpful. - I was afraid the room to be small when booking, but it is really well arranged and I felt it was bigger that 15m2. It felt like 17-18m2. - It is quite central to Naples, near the train station to visit Naples surroundings (6min), near the ports (15 or 25 min) and near the historic center (10min). Overall Martina offers prestation as if you were staying at a 4* hotel but with the friendliness on top. I highly recommand staying at Macchiato Suites B&B.

Martina was a fantastic host. She messaged us as soon as we made our booking to let us know that we could reach out to her with any questions. She provided clear details for our arrival and check out and gave us great tips about the area. The apartment is a small oasis in Naples. There is a special touch in every aspect of the apartment and the room. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and the shower has good pressure. I loved the attention to detail in all of the decorations. It felt very homely and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The apartment is in a great location, walking distance to the central train station, the port and the sites of the old town. We will return to Naples and for sure return to the Macchiato suites. We recommend any travellers to Naples to stay here.

There was nothing that we didn't like. Everything was perfect.

This was the best bed I slept on in Italy, and with great pillows (not always the case). Breakfast was served to you in your room and was so plentiful and delicious I felt guilty leaving some uneaten. The room had a terrace, though in Naples that means street noise, but was so nice to have the natural light. The location was perfect in the center of town (very close to L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michele, one of the most popular in the world and worth the visit), and just off the Main Street, yet just a 10 minute walk from the train station. I can’t say enough good about this place and how I was treated.

The room was perfect and had everything we needed. The tips from the host (Martina) about what to do in and around Naples were also great.

The b&b is close to the Garibaldi station, which is nice for travelling to and around the city. However it’s quite a walk from the b&b to Via Toledo (where we really liked the restaurants and shops). Nevertheless it is also possible to take a metro from Duomo or Garibaldi to Via Toledo.

The accommodations were excellent. The bed was so comfortable and luxurious that we slept well every night. The shower and bathroom facilities were great. I loved the decor and balcony. It was always exceptionally clean- a true oasis! One of the best things about the stay was meeting Martina- she was so welcoming and helpful to us, always going above and beyond to make sure we had a nice visit in Naples. Her recommendations were the best.

What a room, so much comfort and cosy-ness. Clean, tidy, well designed beautiful place. On top of that, Martina is the most helpful and kind host as well. We stayed one night only, but in that short time we got to experience a part of Napoli which we loved, thanks to Martina. The location was very close to old town where Martina recommended us a restaurant which had perfect pizza and the view. Breakfast was amazing, it got us ready for another big day!

Martina was helpful, understanding, and accommodating. She reached out prior to our arrival to make sure we have confirmed transportation to the B&B. She was sweet, spent time helping us learn how to navigate through the city, and gave great advice. Breakfast was delicious and included many options. The room was bigger than most European hotels I have stayed, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Martina had done a great job with the interior design, you could tell she spent time meticulously picking out every part of the room and bathroom. The location was close to public transport, restaurants, and sights to see. This place in Los Angeles, CA, would easily cost 3x the amount.

Our room was large and light with tall ceilings and windows and small balcony overlooking the street. Our taxi driver had some trouble finding the location but it was actually not far from a main avenue and a short walk to the train station and the old city full of restaurants and bars. Our hostess welcomed us graciously, and helped us up the small elevator, or there is short flight of stairs, she was extremely helpful and gave us great tips on restaurants and getting around the area. The premises are bright and clean and have an elegant simplicity. We were only visiting Napoli for one night and then taking a ferry to Sicily, everything about this property made our visit easy and pleasant. The breakfast, which was bought to our room was particularly lovely.

Napoli is a gritty city, a bit dirty noisy and hectic. As a New Yorker this felt pretty normal to me but I could imagine that it could be intimidating to some. I felt safe and well attended to at this establishment.
