Mr Fabio is a wonderful host and immediately makes you feel at home. He greeted me at the door and carried my suitcases to the hotel and wouldn't let me help. He's a true gentleman and the kindest soul you will meet. He went into great detail about where to go and what to try and went so much as to draw me an itinerary for my day. My bedroom was lovely and decorated very tastefully. The bed was comfortable and the linen incredibly soft. The Ac worked very well, and I had a safe and a fridge in my room with complimentary drinks and water. The day of my departure I needed to leave before breakfast at 7.30, Fabio ensured my taxi was arranged in advance and went so far as to prepare me a special personalized breakfast with delicious treats and coffee for me to have. It was such a kind gesture and a testament to the incredible hospitality he has shown me. I will forever be grateful and highly recommend staying here. Furthermore the location is ideal for anyone wishing to be in the heart of Naples old town. All the iconic sites are within a couple to a few min away by foot, including the Duomo. For the level of service, comfort, cleansiness, style and location of his hotel, I'd give.him a 4 on 4 star rating if I could.

For those that can't take stairs for health reasons be mindful there are no elevators. But otherwise very feasible.

Fabio the host of Sotto was absolutely charming! He made us so welcome, explaining everything in the room and the B and B. He gave us a map and advice about Naples. He provided a lovely breakfast and organised our taxi to the airport-He even stood outside with us until we got in the cab!! The room was excellent, clean, bright and comfortable with a mini fridge and lovely bathroom. The location of the hotel is perfect-you are right in the middle of the old town which is so vibrant. We also easily explored other parts of Naples as there is a tube stop not far. We felt so lucky to have found this lovely little hotel. Thank you Fabio!

There was nothing we didn't like!

The location was fantastic, the service we received from Fabio was second to none, he prepared breakfast for us everyday with an assortment of sweet and sour and he made the best cafe with the cafeteria. The mini sflogliatelle riccia and the torta Paradiso were my favourites. Restaurants and bars were lovely and literally at your door step with music and patrons dancing in the street on one of the nights, it was so nice to see.

Our host, Fabio, was incredibly kind and helpful. I had forgotten how nice it was to stay in a B&B, since we mostly go to Airbnbs or hotels now. The room was comfortable, as was the bed. The 3 long flights of stairs were easy enough to manage, even for us in our 60s. The B&B is in an old historic Neapolitan palazzo which was once a tribunal in the 17th century, I believe. I would stay here again!

The breakfast seemed a little basic, though we only partook of it on one morning, since we had to leave early after our second night. There were several small sweet pastries, cereal, some meats, but limited fruit offerings. I can't remember what else there was. Be wary of taxis charging 20 euro to get to the B&B from the station - total ripoff. We paid 10 euro and that was even a ripoff. it's about a 12-15 minute walk, and was ok to walk during the day time.

Lovely, clean and really well decorated. Fabio our host was just so nice and welcoming. He spent the time with us ensuring we knew where everything was and how it worked but also shared insights into the Neapolitan culture and gave us some great food recommendations.

The steps to the apartment are hard going but good to work off all that pizza! Fabio came down to greet us when we arrived and insisted on carrying our heaviest case up to the room (and took it back down when we were leaving)

The host is the most amazing and caring man. He is helpful and so lovely. The room was so cute and had some of the original features like the doors to the balcony. Bed was comfy, internet worked well and aircon were good. Breakfast was yum and he makes the best capaccino. You can stand on your balcony and watch what's happening downstairs.

There are 84 huge steps to the top. It helped us burn a ton of calories, but if you start here, take lite or easy to carry luggage.

Very comfortable room, large and very clean. The breakfast was lovely and we were able to make a tea in the kitchen ourselves before bed. The hotel was in a very good position, right in the old town. The only downfall was the stairs. We are in our 50's and we had to stop half way up for a breather, but the trek was worth it as the room was so nice. The owner was so helpful to us in finding places to visit and helping us to find our way around

The wonderful reception: our bags were carried up all the steps, a detailed overview of what to see was noted on a map for us, we were provided with a reserved breakfast because we needed to get to the airport early, a discounted cab ride was booked for us, complimentary Pepsi in room fridge, disco light options.

I didn't find a toilet paper holder on the wall. Two brand new rolls were provided. I'm klutzy- always worry I could knock them around.

Delightful room, our host could not have been friendlier and more helpful. The location is very central for exploring old Naples, and there is a charming trattoria in the little piazzetta where we ate both nights. Breakfast was also good

The only downside is that it's on the 3rd floor and there is no lift, so you need to be OK with approx 80 steps up and down. But if that's no problem, highly recommend it :)

Fabio is an absolute legend! There's no lift, so he insisted on carrying our bags up four flights of stairs, then gave us a very thorough orientation to the room. He then spent lots of time telling us about the local area and the history of the town. You can tell he loves his job and is great at it! ☺️

No lift, and the towels needed replacing, but it's a very small complaint given how great everything else was!
