The palazzo is situated in the historic centre, yet it’s easy to park nearby. The building itself is amazing, especially the interior design. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the town. The receptionist was super kind, she introduced us the brief history of the monastery, recommended cafes and restaurants and also made sure to preheat our room since we were traveling with a baby.

No breakfast option in March - but there are several lovely cafes nearby. Also, we had to pay a little bit of extra fee for the crib, which would have been fine, but it was a little bit strange that it depended on the room type wether the baby crib was free of charge or not.

The staff and the design of the buildings’ architecture (wow) and again the staff, all very helpful and kind! The buildigs are located at the border of the restricted old city (no cars) therefore easy to reach without walking too far.

If you book you do not know in which building you will be located. (I knew it because I called before checking in) While breakfast is located in the main building only- in the other buildings are more a b&b feeling instead a hôtel. But buildings are all in the same area, you just walk a couple of minutes.

This is an absolutely amazing property. The staff was really friendly and the room was very spacious too. The location is very central and great to explore this region. The room was absolutely clean and the property had amazing common areas too.

The only improvement I could recommend is just adding a few more items in the breakfast. But apart from that the stay was impeccable!

The conversion from a monastery made this a very beautiful and unique property. The room and facilities were very clean and well presented. We throughly enjoyed the semi-private pool. The property is located minutes walk from the piazza and was a central base to explore the Salento region. The staff were very kind and helpful! A perfect stay and highly recommended from anyone travelling through Puglia!

The hotel provides one of the best breakfasts that I have ever experienced with a wide variety of local specialities in addition to breakfast standards. The breakfast staff could not have been kinder and responsive with smiles. Brava to all! The rooms are spacious, quiet and immaculate. The location is central and easy to approach.

We surely missed an elevator as all rooms are on an upper floor with LOTS of steps. This property is not ideal for anyone with physical handicaps. Also, due to the sporadic staff hours at the front desk, there was often no one available to answer questions or help with carrying suitcases up or down those steps.

Stunning historical property with a beautifully appointed room in a simple yet elegant style which suits the origin of the building as a nunnery & later a palazzo. The old town of Nardo is a real gem and well worth a visit.

At the time no elevator ( was being built) it was hard work carrying suitcases up the stairs as older guests.

We absolutely loved our stay here in Nardo. Staff were super lovely. Santa Theresa - our room - was HUGE and beautifully preserved, decorated and furnished. The air con and fridge were great (really needed in this heat!). The shower was the biggest we have ever been in! We also had a lovely terrace to sit out in the evenings. Parking was not a problem at all as you can park down side streets less than 100m away for free. The communal reception rooms/study areas/sitting areas around the building are all stunning and well furnished. Breakfast was outstanding - a huge thank you to Virginia who baked delicious cakes every day and prepared lovely fresh Italian food to a backdrop of calming music while we sat out on the terrace. The main piazza in Nardo comes to life after 6pm and is only a 6 minute walk away. It's a wonderful friendly place to stay and has the most beautiful beaches (white sand and blue/green sea) just a 25 minute drive away. We have already booked to return next year!

Our only gripe was the wifi connection was very poor. The only place in the building where we could get wifi was in one corner of the large ground floor sitting room! However, we reported this and they are looking into it and we do understand that the building is very old with thick walls which does not help.

The hotel is in a beautiful town which was lovely and quiet in the off season but still had plenty of great places to eat. Our room was stunning with access to the lovely pool. Breakfast was varied and delicious and service from the staff was really attentive.

It rained while we were there so didn’t end up using the pool but there’s not much that can be done to prevent that.

Beautifully restored old structure with an interesting history. Our room, Sanfelice, had a beautiful sala with enormous windows and beautiful light. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely space, in or outdoors seating.

This is a hidden gem hotel in a lovely quaint town that is well worth a visit on a Puglia trip. We were out in a different room to the one we booked (pre warned) and the bathroom/bath tub was insane! Room was really spacious and comfy bed. Well located for visiting the west coast and Nardo is very pretty itself. Great checkin/out flexibility and amazing breakfast.
