We are a family of 4 who recently returned from a week at La Terrazza. The highlights are: Very close to Ostuni (10 minute drive), great base to visit other beautiful towns, great breakfast, solid water pressure in the shower, good beds, great service and cleaning. Antonio and his dad, Pino, take great pride in the hotel and it shows. The staff were lovely.

Driving in Southern Italy can be challenging, the area leading to hotel is no exception. Be prepared to pull over when traffic is coming towards you, drivers can be aggressive, at least in terms of American standards. The real value of a place like La Terrazza is the tranquil setting. You are in the country so there are wonderful tranquil sounds of nature, birds chirping, tractors in the distance etc. The pool is delightful, but when staff turns on the music at the pool bar or worst-outsiders enter on a day pass--all tranquility is lost. Twice we and several others enjoying a peaceful time at the end of a hot day left the pool area when screaming children took over pool. The only negative.

The place felt like an Italian villa. The beds were made daily and were very comfortable. The owner was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond helping us with restaurant bookings, beach and wine tasting recommendations. He even picked us some prickly pear to taste. In the last two nights we stayed in the luxurious room with a jacuzzi, sauna and coffee machine. Breakfast was delicious with beautiful pastries and seasonal fruit. We loved the coffee machine too. There was plenty of parking as well.

It would have been nice to have more hot water.

This "relais" is located in the countryside outside of Ostuni, a great view on the valley below and a haven of peace after sightseeing each day. We (2 couples) had adjoining rooms in a small building with a nice shared patio in front. The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was excellent: lots of choice of savoury and sweet things, plus a great variety of fresh fruit, and the option of asking for eggs, bacon, etc. The owner Antonio was friendly and very helpful. Because the weather was very windy, we didn't use the pool a lot but it's a lovely pool. It was an excellent base for visiting Ostuni and many nearby places , or further destinations such as Matera. We enjoyed trying restaurants in many small towns nearby (30-40 minute drive) in the evening. Secure parking inside the property.

It was a pity that the bar by the pool had no things for aperitif (no wine, no things to nibble on).

Rooms were clean and equipped with top of the line amenities.Excellent breakfast with variety of cakes and coffee options. Fruit and yogurt. Grounds were well cared for and included play area for children. It is evident that recent upgrades have made this property a sought-after destination. Care has also been taken to post numerous signs in the area to assist in locating the property. Close enough to Ostuni to make trips into the White City convenient for meals and sight-seeing but far enough to avoid traffic congestion. All in all a very enjoyable stay. Free parking on sight or across the street.

Nothing, really

Lovely room, very clean, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Beautiful pool and very peaceful.

Restaurant was not open in evening, which was disappointing as we had no car! We had to get Ottavio, lovely transfer guy, to take us into Ostuni three times, at some cost. This wasn’t clear on the Booking.com site. Breakfast was indoors, beautiful views, but it would have been nice to be able to use the outside terrace.

The hotel was great, but what really stood out was the level of attentiveness of the staff, Antonio and Elena in particular just went over and beyond to make us feel comfortable and really at home. We stayed here before getting married and moving on to somewhere else, and they made the start of our holiday amazing.

The only criticism I would have if I had to write one would be the gym facilities weren't great, but that's it.

The service here was of a 5 star hotel. Ottavio & Antonio were SO helpful and also helped us arranging getting around Puglia. Honestly they went above and beyond, all with a smile. We arrived late and they were just so accommodating. We really enjoyed the breakfast with a view overlooking all the olive trees and I'd highly recommenced staying here.

Everything was amazing.

Atypical and charming room in a Trulli. Lot of space. Very clean. jacuzzi inside the room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing really just don’t hesitate to ask the staff for setting the air conditioning on when you arrive in the trulli.

All the staff were super friendly, the outdoor pool areas and common areas were well cared for and very relaxing. Our son enjoyed the play area and pool a lot. The dining room had a beautiful view. it’s a great place to relax and get away.

The property was a bit far from Ostuni so having a car or any mode of transportation is helpful. The property only offered breakfast and lunch so you had to go off the property for the evening meal.
