We had an amazing mini flat with its own entrance , large terrace and magnificent views of Lake Garda. This part of the lake is very peaceful and there is direct access to the lakeside where you can sunbathe and swim. There is also a small swimming pool with plentiful sun loungers. The grounds are very lovely with lots of four poster beds dotted around to relax on. The train station is three bus stops away and from Desenzano you can get direct trains to Venice and Verona. The breakfast was very nice, with home baked goods available abs lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The flat had a fridge and kettle on the ground floor but the only washing up facilities were upstairs. The hotel doesn’t have a bar or anywhere to get snacks/lunch and there are no local shops at all. The nearest supermarket is a 40 minute walk or bus ride, not something you would want to do every day. There are however about 4 restaurants on the lake side which were all very nice.

24/7 friendly staff, from receptionist to lady in the breakfast room, cleaning ladies to the night guard. the pool was small, but enough to do some swimming. Enough sun bathing facilities.

we had a room with an uncovered window, so light started pouring in around 6 am. We didn’t ask the reception to do something about it though (they probably would have). what I missed was a bar, where you could have some coffee in the afternoon (or a glass of wine). since there were very few bars in the near neighbourhood that was a bummer.

The room was very comfortable and spacious with a lake view.

The added extras that would normally be included in a 4* spa hotel were an added expense. ie. Had to pay for pool towels, water in the room, and a substantial charge for use of the spa. ( That was not explained in advance when booking.) The hotel is not near shops etc. A car is definitely needed.

The property was lovely, the breakfast room had an idyllic room and the bedrooms looked as lovely as they did in the photos. The pool was lovely, didn’t feel like it was next to a road like the other reviewers said.

Location was a bit annoying. No taxis anywhere! Meant we had to drive, nothing nearby and the ferry was really sparse

Everything was just perfect, the staff is super nice, the rooms are big and innovative.

Mosquito net in the windows could be nice for an hotel at the countryside, beside that the hotel is perfect.

Rooms just renovated and looking great. Big and spacious clean and shiny. We especially like the bathroom that was big comfortable and pleasant. Great Breakfast at the rooftop with the lake view, and friendly staff that treat us generously.

Proximity to the lake meant getting swarmed by insects. Likely just a seasonal thing. Doubt that happens year round.

A gem of a place in a very good location, very close to Desenzano where we took the ferry to Sirmione and the train to Venice. The curtesy and availability of the staff has been exceptional. We particularly loved and recommend the restaurant.

Smelling the staff cigarettes when entering the hotel is always unpleasant as a first experience. They showed no interest changing that habbit.

Just an amazing place. No faults, spotless.
