The Cossyra hotel is a clean, nice hotel located in a village on the island of Pantelleria. It has fine, clean rooms with a good amount of space to use and a fine balcony to enjoy some sea breeze. The swimming pool is a fine addition, given the difficulty of accessing beaches on the island. Breakfast is great, with a lot of options, included a much welcome continental breakfast option.

All this value comes at a price: nothing unreasonable, but I wouldn't call it a cheap hotel. The location is also convenient only to a certain extent: given the structure of the island, there's no way you can stay here for some time without a car. At a certain point, one might get bored of the swimming pool and wish to try some nearby beach, or might want to try something else than the hotel restaurant.

The salt water pool of the sister hotel is fantastic with easy beach access. The restaurant in the Cossyra, owned and run by chef Salvatore Botaro called Scruscio is absolutely phenomenal.

Very limited breakfast of commercial quality with a restriction of only one coffee. If a second is desired, there is an additional charge which certainly doesn't start your vacation day on the right foot. Bathroom amenities also very limited.

Nice building with pool not far from the centre of Pantelleria town (few miles). Good breakfast and clean room.

Although on the booking site is mentioned that there is a restaurant at the hotel, is wasn't open off season. This had to be mentioned as we choose hotels with restaurant only. Staff is correct but not professional (clothing, administration,...).

The nice pools: there are two, one with clear water and another bigger one with sea water. It is a clean and nice hotel in a great location. I really recommend the experience!

A personal impression: The staff was very nice but sometimes had to be a little harsh because of the COVID-19 measures, especially serving the breakfast in the morning. Also, it was sometimes complicated to communicate, though we always managed. I guess some of the staff did not speak very well English though they understood it. Otherwise they were all very nice and very helpful!

The need to have a car to explore the different touristic places, only one meal option for vegetarians at the restaurant, most of the personal staff cannot speak English, need to pay for using the spa.
