We have never stayed in such a beautiful bed and breakfast as this place,it was so much more,the room was fantastic and like everywhere else in this property spotless,the breakfast OMG so much choice and loads to eat and drink every morning,Giovanni and his beautiful mother was the most friendliest people we had the pleasure to meet,they couldn't do enough for us,our bedroom was better than some you find in 5star hotels,and the view from our bedroom was beautiful. There is so much I could say about this place , but summing it up beautiful

There isn't anything negative about this place

The host (Giovanni) is very kind and always up for a conversation. He loves dogs so for dog owners, his is a good home! The rooms are a bit dated but that is part of the Italian charm. The first night we had to get used to the hard bed but the second and third night we slept so good on that bed. The breakfast is typical Italian and including some made options. We enjoyed our stay here!

Giovanni and his family were so welcoming when we arrived at their cute b&b in the mountains above castiglione di garfagnana; it’s very much a family home so don’t expect a sterile hotel atmosphere! Our room was traditional (in line with the property) and spotless. We were able to walk 15min down the hill to the village for dinner in the osteria which was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic, so many homemade cakes, coffee, juice, bread, cookies.. the list goes on! It is excellent value for money and the hosts are so kind, we loved our stay!

Not a negative about the property itself, but the drive up is very long and windy so be prepared if you are susceptible to car sickness! No complaints at all

It's an absolute gem! Nestled in the Tuscan hills, this place offers stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully decorated with rustic charm, and the free WiFi and private bathrooms add convenience. The shared lounge with a fireplace is perfect for cozy evenings, and the daily Italian breakfast with homemade delights is a treat. With free private parking and the amazing host Giovanni, who is friendly, helpful, and makes the best pizzas, this B&B is a true delight! Grazie mille Giovanni!

Wow, the Location was amazing overlooking the mountains so scenic. 10 minute walk to Castiglione di Garfagnana castle with restaurant, bar. Giovanni and family were amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble and we asked a lot of questions.

That we had to go home, there wasn't anything not to like.

Giovanni is really great and a very nice host. The homemade breakfasts were smaller but really tasty. Our bikes were safely stored in the owner's garage.

The bathroom was only separated by a plastic sliding door and the walls were not very soundproof.

Not enough words to describe how wonderful Giovanni was and how fantastic the entire area is. Giovanni was so kind, so knowledgeable, so helpful (and we had an unwell traveler during our stay) so accommodating! It felt like we were all old friends. And, that lesser known part of Tuscany, the mountains…spectacular. We will be back as soon as we are able.

Great place, with beautiful views of garfagnana. Definetely recommend, since Giovanni is an outstanding host! We've been there only for one night off season - but still had a great time! We'll definetely be back.

Giovanni is an amazing host, friendly and available, he will always go the extra mile for you and give useful information on Garfagnana. Very nice room, fantastic breakfast (amazing homemade cakes every morning!).

The bathroom wasn't perfectly clean when we arrived, there were a few hairs around the toilet and in the shower box. Nothing major though, overall the bathroom still had a good level of cleanliness.

Our stay was more than satisfying in this cosy and local B&B. It's situated directly on the street, so very easy to arrive and not far from the sorrounding villages. Host Giovanni, always friendly and very welcoming, takes good care of his guests. He serves a nice breakfast in the morning with also fresh homemade cakes or boiled/fried eggs. He can also suggest places to go/eat or activities in the area and if you prefer to stay "Home" during the evening you can also enjoy reading a book in the living room warming up next to his fireplace.
