Truly, Mr. Catello Abagnale of Domus Michaeli B&B is an exceptional, kind, and gracious host with my last-minute late booking i made while still in Naples. The interior of the B&B is beautiful and very modern, as was the modern air-conditioned, extremely large, and comfortable bed and private bathroom. I left early the next morning and walked to the street to hail a cab for my next destination. After about 5 minutes, Catello happened to drive past me on his motorcycle, stopped, and offered assistance for obtaining a taxi to my destination about 2 miles away. Astonishingly, Catello went back to the B&B to get his own automobile and drive me to where I needed to go. This additional hospitality was above and beyond, exceeding my expectations. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Domus Michaeli B&B when you visit Pompei. ENJOY !!!!

The owner, Catello, was very friendly and helpful, as well as professional - we had a warm welcome. The B&B was very cosy and family friendly, it felt like home. We had a beautiful view on Vesuvio from our room :)

The Pompeii town was very lively, with a selection of cute shops, stalls and restaurants, but it needs a better internal transport for tourists, e.g. taxi transport doesn't work very well, in fact it was a huge issue to find a cab back to our B&B from the archeological site in order to catch a train to Napoli - the driver wanted to charge us €50 for a cca 5 minute journey!

Catello is a fantastic host, and he has a fantastic property also. Brand new inside, and i had a spacious room with en-suite bathroom. The property is located a 10 minute walk from the heart of the action, where you'll be able to do a tour of the ruins of Pompeii, and also the main streets for bars and restaurants etc. I'm planning to come back to Pompeii again, and i'll be in contact again to book once more.

No complaints at all, would happily stay here again.

Our original accommodation unexpectedly cancelled on the day, we booked this B&B very last minute. The owner was extremely hospitable and helpful. There was a water issue in Pompeii but he did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were made to feel extremely welcome and felt that he went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We would highly recommend this B&B and if we return to Pompeii we would not hesitate to stay here again.

We loved the host and the room was very cute and close to everything! There’s plenty of street parking in front of the building and the neighborhood is safe! It’s a great value and won’t disappoint!

This has nothing to do with Domus Michaeli but there’s the Exact same address across town. Be sure to include Pompei in your Apple Maps search. That was totally my fault!

The B&B was a short walk to an entrance of the Pompei ruins, and Vesuvius was visible from the balcony. It was very clean and quiet, and free coffee and tea were included. The owner was very nice and generous.

Nothing complaints. We will be back!

The location of this B&B is great. Easily walkable to restaurants and easy access to trains and buses in the area. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the host Catello was wonderful to work with. He gave us great suggestions on things to do, places to eat, and how to move around. On our way out of town, he actually took us to the train station as well. Great guy and a nice place.

It was weird that it didn't have a toilet seat. It was okay, but strange.

The owner is really friendly and ready to give you information, advices really helpful. He helped us in different way and with good tips. The location is perfect, you are basically in the center.

Only one aspect, unfortunately depending on the previous guest.. In the very beginning in the room there was an unpleasant smell of smoke.

Lovely room with very comfortable beds, nice bathroom, and just 15 min walk to the entrance of Pompeii. Our host was very helpful and friendly. There is street parking next to the building, which was great. A lovely bakery with a small local supermarket is just two minutes walk away. You should definitely try their stuff!

The walls are a little thin, so you can hear the neighbors. That is the case in most Italian buildings though...

I had a fantastic view of Mt. Vesuvius, the property is located about a mile from city center and is easily walkable, yet also given the feeling of being ‘in’ the community

I felt there could have been more accompaniments at the coffee bar (creamer, natural sugar) and maybe some muffins
