Valeria, thank you for everything. Score 10 is too low for you. I recommend this property where I stayed for 9 nights. The cleanliness is impeccable, linen changed towels as in 5 star hotels. The location is very good, close to everything a tourist would want on vacation.The breakfast was delicious.Very very good location in the old town with an impressive architecture very close to the beach and all means of transport.If you arrive in Salerno, it would be a shame not to stay in this wonderful place. The host Valeria is just wonderful ! She could not have been more helpful and attentive. Superb communication before, during and even after our stay. Valeria always made herself available. The cleanliness of the b&b is just perfect , we only stayed 6 nights but in that time our towels and bed linen were changed twice. The shower was excellent and as we stayed during February the room temperature ( including the bathroom ) was spot on. We never felt too hot or cold. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again if we should revisit Salerno.

Would have been nice to have a saucepan and frying pan to do a little bit of cooking as so much lovely fresh food available locally. Not really something we didn’t like though just a suggestion. The only other thing and again not something we didn’t like but maybe a hand drawn map of the immediate area with suggested places to eat and where to get bus tickets and which bus stops take you the Arechi castle for example as we found this a little tricky even with Valeria’s help.

Perhaps it might have been better for us if it had been situated a liotlle more certrally A washing machine could have been helpful because the local launderette was undesirable.

The location of this apartment is excellent, walking and buses were very easy. Whilst we were there for 4 nights the other room was also rented out. Breakfast (supplied) each morning was nice to swap travel experiences with the other guests. Valeria was very prompt with messages and checking to see if everything was ok. We always felt safe and secure.

No cooking in kitchen only coffee’s and salad preparation allowed.

B&B Palazzo Scaramella was not what I expected-- the entire B&B consists of only two guest bedrooms (with small balconeys) and an eat-in kitchen, on the fourth floor of a historic building (with an old-fashioned lift that is a bit confusing to operate-- you must manually close the outer door first, then the inner door, before pressing a button for the floor). A small continental breakfast was set up and arranged for whatever time we requested the night before; but there was no staff in the kitchen area during the breakfast, so we were left on our own as much as possible-- which is terrific if you're looking for a private, quiet experience. That said, the staff were very generous and kind in trying to accomodate my dietary issues (Diabetes 1 diet), hungry teenager and an inability to use the lovely, fancy espresso maker because the instructions were in Italian. It all worked out very well for us in the end. All of the rooms were immaculate, the air conditioners could not be left on when you weren't in the room but they cooled things down very quickly; the location is very good, Salerno is a lovely city; and there is a supermarket an 8 minute walk from the B&B, which was very handy for picking up necessities.

I like a very hard bed, and two of the beds in the room were a bit soft for me-- but the good news is that there was a cot in the room that was just about perfect. So I was quite comfortable in the end! The only other thing I might change would be to have heavier curtains available in the room: there were only sheers on the sliding doors to the balconey, so there was a lot of light flooding in the room early in the morning, which made it difficult to sleep much past sunrise. On the other hand, I can't complain about the lovely sunshine!

Valeria was the best host we have met so far. She made us feel like home, always available with great reccomandation and advices. The apartament was superclean, all shiny and sanitized. Good coffee and breakfast, attention for details and for our daily confort.

Everything was TOP!🙂

Very clean, friendly host , good room . Lovely building. Neighbours very friendly . Bit of a trek from station if walking . Lots of restaurants nearby, beautiful small park a few minutes away and close to start of promenade.

Breakfast basic although croissants freshly baked which was nice . COffee very nice and didn't expect to much for breakfast considering the price

This is an excellent 2bedroom apartment located in the heart of the city surrounded by great restaurants and supermarkets. Easily one accessible to the ferry port or bus stop to travel to Amalfy/Positano. Host was so helpful in checkin process and locating us a car parking spot. this place is highly recommended.

I loved the apartment and how it was very cozy and comfortable. very clean and farther away from center but easily accessible by bus and foot. The breakfast was simple but nice and the bed was very comfy. Valeria is very sweet and gave great recommendations!

Excellent accommodation! Nice , comfy and clean. It`s a flat with two separate rooms (every room has a private bathroom) and kitchen (to share). Quite and safe area, 5 min by foot to the street with restoraunts and shoping street, 20-30 min to the ferries (if you wanna go to Amalfi, Positano etc) and to the main train station. Veronica is very kind host, she gaves us a lots of useful information.
