The rooms were nice and spacious and had wonderful newly renovated bathrooms. The beds were super comfy and it was nice having the simple breakfast right outside the door. The main building door is right on the main shopping street and very short walk to the train station or anywhere else in the main town. We would stay here again, especially if travelling with public transport.

Coming by car is a little more complicated given the limited parking in town. We booked the recommended car lot which was basically under the building, so very close, but it was 20 euro a day and they double park so you have to leave the keys to the car with them. Also, to get to the B&B from the street, you have to go in a building, up a flight of stairs, across a small courtyard and then up to the 5th floor of the second building. There are elevators for both sets of stairs.

My first 10 for an accommodation as it completely worth it. The room was huge, very modern and with a very comfy bed. The hotel very well located and they served a very good an personalised breakfast. But the best are Gabriella and Domenico who took care of us all the time and are always available through WhatsApp. They provided as well a list of restaurant and very useful information for Amalfi coast ferries. Thanks for being such a good hosts!

First of all, the service of the hosts is pretty good. The reply to the message was very fast and took good care of me, who was traveling alone. The cleanliness of the room was very clean and I liked the fact that there was a balcony. Breakfast is served with Italian sweet bread, coffee, and various fruit juices. It is very close to Salerno Station and has a great location to go on a ferry ride! Of the three weeks I stayed in Italy, the six days I stayed in Salerno were the most comfortable.

The smell of bad drains in the bathroom was getting worse by the day. Maybe because there was a problem with the drain, But it was solved quickly and the hosts actively helped me clean and repair my room. The drain problem was solved quickly, and there was no problem other than this.

Location was amazing! The owner went out of her way everyday for us and I can't say how much we enjoyed it there! I've already written on a lot of vacation in Italy pages on Facebook how much my husband and I recommend this place. We were in room #1 and we will return! We stayed 6 nights and it's an amazing location to get to all the towns on the Amalfi Coast plus the ferry is 2 blocks down to go to Capri etc. Everything is at your doorstep here.

Mondo B&B is fantastically located even if it is a challenge finding it the first time. After that you will enjoy real Italian Hospitality and a modern and clean room with high-speed Internet and great bathroom. The rooms do not allow for much sound to travel between them and the balcony that we had with our room was lovely for a late night drink with your partner. The lady who usually does the breakfast is friendly and amicable and despite the rudimentary English she is helpful and knows the local area well. She gave us a suggestion for Gelato on Brioche from Bar Nettuno and we went back there TWICE! All in all a great experience for the price!

Finding the hotel the first time around is a challenge as it is located in a Business Complex. Head to the restaurant Mondo Cibus and the owner will lead you right to the right place, or just give them a call. The breakfast is a bit lacking compared to larger B&Bs serving coffee, orange juice, ACE Juice and 3 or 4 different breads and cakes. But for an explorer or city tripper this is really all you need!

Bathroom and large shower enclosure. Very comfortable bed. Gabriella, the host, was very responsive on Whatsapp, even though we never met.

Nowhere to eat or study in the room. I had to sit on the bed to do homework for my Italian language class.

Staff were exceptional, friendly and considerate of all our needs. Gave us lots of information about the city, places to eat and visit. Breakfast and breakfast room was lovely. Position of the accommodation couldn't have been better, 5 minutes walk straight up the main street from the train station. Beautiful port and marina. Enjoyed our time there very much.

Very nice BnB in the Salerno city center on the main pedestrian streat. 2 minutes walk from railway station and 3 minutes walk to ferry to go to Amalfi and Positano, location is perfect. Room was very nice and comfortable, host Gabriella is very welcoming. Nice breakfasts.

I had a wonderful stay at Mondo B&B. First of all, the host was very nice and helpful. Really appreciated! The room was spacious and clean and had a large shower and balcony. The location couldn’t be better, as it is just a 5 min walk to Piazza della Concordia, where the boats to the Amalfi coast leave, and also just 5 min to the central train station of Salerno. A large supermarket is just around the corner. I also have to recommend aperitivo at Mondo Cibus, a bar nearby from the same owners. The food and drinks were absolutely great!! I will certainly visit again when I am back in Salerno. Thanks a lot!
